Has anyone taken Hydroxycut, Lean Fire, or Hot Rox? Do you feel that they are safe to take? Do you feel nauseated? And most importantly do you feel they have helped you acheive your weight loss goals?

My hesitation about taking them is that I work in a lab doing research on Parkinson's Disease and I have become a little too paranoid about taking meds.

I would love to hear your thoughts regarding these supplements.
Thank you,
Suzanne

I have taken Hydroxy Cut and Total Lean (the one from GNC). They made me nervous and I had a hard time sleeping.. now I do drink coffee all day, so with this is was awful! I was not taking them long enough to see if they worked. In the back of my mind I kept thinking, will I have to take these forever to keep the weight off? I gave these up ( nothing can make me give up coffee!).. I think they are a waste of money.

I wouldn't...they all say you need to eat healthy and exercise on the package. Thosewho have success with these things need to give credit to the diet and workouts...not the pills. They do very little IF ANYTHING for weight/fat loss. Also, many include ingredients that can cause heart problems to an otherwise healthy heart...who needs that??

Just an example....I have seen a few interviews with Anna Nicole, we all know she lost a TON of weight. The only time I see her give credit to TrimSpa is when she does a commercial for them. When she is on The View or some other, she admitts to damn near starving herself!

Hi Suzanne

I'm taking Lean Fire at the moment but haven't really seen any major changes.

I have also taken HotRox and did see a reduction in BF when I'd plateaued - was taking it for 2 months. According to the manufacturer, you have to be taking it for over 1 month to see effects.

My diet is clean and I am exercising hard so these are helpful in trying to get through sticking points.

It's important to gradually increase the dose and not to take them past around 3pm as you will find it hard to sleep. Neither Lean Fire nor HotRox has caused me to feel nauseous or nervous but everyone is different.

Hope that helps,
Andrea
