supersetting

Hi Cathe!

I know you've defined supersetting as having little rest between exercises. In PH & ME, there seems to be (at least to me) little rest between a lot of the exercises. Would you consider these workouts as a type of supersetting? If not, what's the difference? Just wondering.

Thanks!

These are considered endurance workouts
lighter weights higher reps
supersetting is taking a couple different exercises for the same muscle group performing them back to back then resting a little between sets
Not Cathe but ihtink I got this right

Hi Lisa! Yes supersetting is taking 2 exercises (i.e., seated bent over lateral raise perform this for a total of 20 reps & then go immediately into standing front shoulder raise for 20 reps). This is NOT easy & will knock your socks off but very effective. However, you do NOT rest at all in between any sets. HTH, Kathy:D
