Supersets with no ball

I was wondering if you were still able to do the exercises that use the stability ball without one? Are there modifications? I dont have a ball and I wanted to order supersets but it calls for a stability ball.

She doesn't have anyone doing any modifications in this workout. The only thing I can suggest is that you sit on the high step when they are sitting on the stability ball and use the floor when they are laying on the stability ball. Or just go out and buy a stability ball. They aren't that expensive, really, $20 and you will have a good one. You can get them for $10 at Kmart I believe. That would be my only suggestions to you.

I have been able to do modifications using no ball. I use a step bench, a chair, and other exercises I know that would involve the same muscle movement. If you're not comfortable figuring this out on your own, a ball is cheap to buy, as Kathy has mentioned. Try watching Cathe's video pre-view on the website.:)

I just did Supersets yesterday and I really think that the ball engages so many more muscles at a time then a stable platform. Really, half of the muscles worked in this workout come directly from the ball and stability isssues. You really do not get the same workout at all IMHO if you do not use the ball. Now, you can modify and work your muscles, but just not to the same dgree or effectiveness I think.

I saw a whole stack of discounted stability balls today at my local Marshalls store. Under $10! They are so common now the price has come right down.

See if you can get one as an investment
