I would like for Toby or Magni to win. I really cannot stand Lukas' voice or "drunken" movements. Sometimes he is really good and other times, he is horrible, IMO (and DH's opinion. Dh is the music lover, though, not me!)

Yeah I figured she as pregeres from the start of the show, was since she wearing so my baggy clothes..why hide such a great body! I told hubby that something was up when she kept wearing such baggy ugly clothes.

I think Brook is incredibly beautiful!!

I can't believe I am say this..but I think Dave Navaro is so HOT!!! Must be my punk rocker brain from my teenager years talking..

I have it set on Tivo...we just changed from Direct TV to Comcast cable..so we had to figure out how to set up the Tivo thing...it is ready to go! I can't wait to watch it!

Anyone notice that Delana was not using crutches and looked like she was walking when they got out of the Hondas and were walking in to the theatre among the crowd?

Yeah I noticed that too!! It was a brief clip of all of them getting out of the hondas.
I think the whole thing is just to keep her out of the running..obviously she agreed to do all of it! I mean what are the chances that you say a bunch of crap to the media (she is smart and she knows better, cracking under the pressure..BS!) then turn around and hurt yourself...very weird! TV created drama at it's best!

Yep, I am tuning in every week! Still really like Magni! I like Toby more now. Not sure who it is going to be. Can't wait for the next episode. But it's already almost over and I have to wait until Jan. for 24 to start!x( Well, maybe I'll take another look at that reading list I've got goin'! Marnie:)
 
My student corrected me today...it was Storm NOT Star...I don't really watch regularly...can you tell?

So, who do y'all think did good tonight? I think Dilana, Toby, and Lucas were absolutely awesome! Magni did good but not as good as the others, IMO. I'm glad I don't have to choose the winner! It was an incredible show and I can't wait to see who the winner is. Also, did anybody realize that all of the finalists are from other countries? My kids pointed it out to me.

Isn't it funny Paula Abdul was there? She should take some ideas back on how to make American Idol more like Rockstar!
 
I didn't pay attention that they all are from other countries- where do they all come from?
I wish I could sing like Dilana, she gives me cold chills;-)

Lukas is from Canada, Dilana from South Africa, Magni from Iceland and Toby from Australia - Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oy oy oy!!!!!

I agree with you about Dilana's voice; I'd buy her CD in a minute.

Dilana was AWESOME ... that was the best by far she has done!! Think her version of Roxanne was better than Rod Stewarts .. !!!

Think she was best by far .. my vote would be with her .. but still wondering if they will pick a woman as lead .. although look at Evernessence .. Amy Lee is their lead .. and she is unbelievable!

I am pulling for Dilana - minus the drama .. which I do think was staged to bring her down a notch ..

But Lucas and Tobey are both awesome too .. and Magni too .. alhtough I don't think there is chemistry between him and the band ..

Can't wait for tonight!!:7
 
I vote for Magni as the groups lead singer but a DEFINITE solo album for Dilana! I WILL buy her album!:)

Well, Magi has been my favorite, but I don't think he did as good as the others. He and Tommy seem to "lack chemistry" Last night it was Tommy that criticized his performance and Magni came back with a little smart comment. The other night someone (maybe Tommy again ) that both of the songs he performed sounded the same why is that? Magni said "because I was the one that sang both of them! :+

YEAH .. that was funny .. Magni doesn't take their crap .. and I love his voice and style .. but I can definately see him butting heads w/the egos of the band ..

.. I would love to see all these final four hit the big time ..

.. Dave Nivara said "Dilana ... you KNOW I love you" .. wonder if she doesn't make it will he get her to join in HIS new band .. LOL .. wouldn't that be a kick!!
 
Hey what about the house band going on tour? Seems like I remember them saying that - then they said Dave's band was . Maybe both? Who will sing for the house band? Marnie
 
Magni is my favorite - but I don't think it would behoove him or the band if he won. He doesn't fit their pop/hard rock style. But I think he'll be big after the show and I'd pay to listen to an album or see him in concert. Same goes for Dilana (whom I freakin' love), but I see them picking a guy when all is said and done.

I've read who wins in two different (and fairly reliable) places, and both gave the same results.

Let's just say I'm surprised and not surprised.
 
I heard who wins too. I hope it's wrong :-( Cause it wasn't who I wanted. Then again, I wanted Marty, not JD last year. Wonder what Marty is up to??
 
Oh my gosh, I wanted Marty to win so badly!! I loved his song "Trees." JD was so 'affected.' I simply didn't care for him. But I do think he was more appropriate for the band than Marty was.

Tonight should be interesting...
