Sunscreen

This is interesting, . . . I got into a little debate with my SIL about sunscreen. She doesn't believe in it but I told her considering the fact that I'm out in the sun for hours a day hiking, biking, mountain biking, . .or jogging I think it would be more foolish to NOT wear sunscreen. I can see the point of caution but I'd have to say the benefits of sunscreen out way the risks. I was surprised that Jurlique was not a brand listed though. Thanks for posting this.

Thanks Melissa

Very interesting. I've been looking for this kind of info for a while. I have to use sunscreen if I'm going to be outside for more than 30 min. I burn too easily. But I really don't like using it cuz I know I'm absorbing the chemicals. Any ideas on where to purchase the good ones?

Also, I use Arbonne products, I wonder about their sunscreens........

I was going to get the Badger one that the site recommended; LuckyVitamin.com has it. I get all my vitamins, shampoo, cond, etc from them so I'm going to order the sunscreen too. Otherwise I think Amazon has a lot of these.

I have been using this one for the past two years: http://www.impex-intl.com/

I like that not only is it non-chemical, it's not harmful to critters that live in the waters (if I'd happen to go into water while wearing it). The only thing I don't like about it is that it smells very strong at first, like a very pungent minty herb, but either the scent dissipates, or I get used to it.
