Sunday Morning Fun: Movies You Blush to Love!

I can't believe I'm actually ratting myself out, but . . .

"Zach and Miri Make A Porno" (Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks get it on despite their best intentions otherwise)

"Gridiron Gang" (The Rock demonstrates he can act. Almost.)

and . . .

"The House Bunny" (Anna Maris {?} and Colin Hanks). I laughed like hell at that one, and I'd rent it again in a minute.

I really like some disney movies but I have an excuse cause I have kids :) like toy story, bugs life. I really like wallace and gromit too. :)

I like ever after (cinderella story)

We've done this kind of thread before and it's always fun!! So, what movies to you *love* much to your own embarrassment?

I'd have to say:

OVERBOARD with Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn. I've seen it 100 times and it cracks me up every.single.time.

THE CUTTING EDGE with Moira Kelly and DB Sweeney. I just adore it.

Fess up, peeps. :D
OH MY GOSH, YOU HAVE SEEN CUTTING EDGE, TOO!!! I used to watch this movie over and over and over and over again - and then I would watch it some more way back when it first came out. I watched it again recently and never told anyone because... well, it IS cheesy! LOL

I have a box of movies stashed under my bed that I don't ever want anyone to see. In this box is... okay, deep breath...

Tristan and Isolde
Ever After
Blood and Chocolate :eek::eek::eek:
Possession
The Wedding Planner :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
The Count of Monte Cristo and Underworld, but I just keep them under my bed so they won't get lost/ruined; they're my all-time favorite movies

Missy

I also love Meatballs. Anyone remember this Bill Murray classic? :D

"Are you ready for the summer? Are you ready for the good times (good times)?"

Along the same lines...who can forget Caddyshack?

Aah yes, the movies of my adolescence...

I love "13 Going on 30" for all the '80s music and pop culture references. Jennifer Garner is so adorable in this movie and Mark Ruaffalo makes me sigh. The scene with the "Thriller" dance sequence makes me want to get up and dance along with it!

I like ever after (cinderella story)

I really like this one too. So much I own it and I own very, very few  I like most Drew Barrymore movies.

I like a lot that have already been mentioned (Sixteen Candles, Say Anything) and just about any musical every made. I really don't care if people look at me strange as I sing along to all the songs. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is wonderful. Howard Keel and Jane Powell at the top of their form.

What a Fun thread!

Here's my list of movies, that I'll always watch if I'm looking for some brain candy while flipping through the channels:

Better Off Dead
Grease
Anything Quentin Tarantino

Lynn M.

Count me in as another fan of Overboard and Galaxy Quest. I also love The Replacements. Some very funny scenes!

Michelle

West Side Story

To Sir With Love

Ferris Beuller's Day Off

Back to the Future

Parent Trap

Grease

American Graffiti

Here's a real oldy - but love it - I wonder if anyone else has seen it?
With Six You Get Eggroll - Doris Day and Brian Keith

And another one about blended families -

Yours, Mine, and Ours - Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda

The Sound Of Music

yes-i remember meatballs. I remember that being very funny. Bill murray is great. Stripes was my first "R" movie. I was I think around 12. My older cousin snuck me in. :p

I love love love Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. My friend used to make fun of me. She always said the woman in the movie sounded like a porn star. Her name was Truly Scrumptious. Her father owned a candy making factory.

Dirty Dancing and Grease are also movies I can watch over and over again.

"Purple Rain"!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Large sunglasses, odd script, poor acting, AWESOME soundtrack, and 80s fashions come together in my hometown - Minneapolis - for one of my favorite movies of all time.

I *so* need to see Purple Rain. I wasn't a huge Prince fan at the time, but I am now.

What about Blazing Saddles? No one has mentioned Mel Brooks yet...
