Cardio Kicks power drills (of course including punching drills)

Good Morning everyone,

OOPS! I started a second thread already for daily checkin as I didn't see this one as it was already way down on the boards already when I decided to post early this morning at 6:40 so I'll repost and bump up.

Yesterday AM: GymStyle Chest with added sets of decline press and decline flies and Floor Work from Legs and Glutes. Clean Max and Errand Max filled in most of the day. Still working on completing my last set with 25lb dumbells for all reps. It is still a struggle at the end and needed to drop weight for decline press and flies.

Yesterday PM: Gauntlet

Today: Gym Style Back and 45 minutes of steady state cardio and a stretch is on schedule.

Hi again. Great workout Cathy.I have finished the kickbox mish mosh of Anette right now.I had an awesome workout.Later I will do TAEBO and 1 hour in my stationary bike. Have a great Sunday.

Mariangeles-I too did one of A-Jock's mish-moshes! Great minds think a like! I was thinking about doing the HC-Faux-CTX rotation for next month. I am waiting to see Cathe's first. Maybe I can mix both together. We'll see.

Cathy-Great job on the weight increase. It feels good to burn!}(

I've been on my quest for Taebo and someone lent me an older Taebo. Taebo Advanced Ultimate Total Body Workout. Is this a good one to try to see if I like Taebo or are the more recent ones better?

Hi Cathy. I am not really a TAEBO expert only a newbie.My first TAEBO workouts were the bootcamp infocomercial deluxe.My favorite bootcamp workouts are the ultimate and the live workout.I like the use of the billy's bands in the workouts but there is not enough cardio in them. I have the volume 2,3,4,6 and 7 workout of the basic live series too. I am enjoying them a lot but they are only 30 minutes of lenght.I have seen the Video Fitness reader forum and the TAEBO fans reviews. I have decided to buy TAEBO advanced lived series workouts and the get ripped advanced. I have not received any of them.That's the reason why I can't post my opinion.When I will receive the workouts I will post my own reviews.

Sounds like everyone is really ramping it up today on their workouts. A-Jock will be thrilled to know her mish-moshes are being put to good use:)

I'm going to do one today too. I just have to decide which one, because there are so MANY to choose from!

Hi Shelly.A-Jock has made lot of great mish moshes to choose.Cathy I have seen the ultimate upper and lower body is a compilation of segments of Tae Bo Live Volumes 2 - 12.Probably the ultmate upper and lower body has more toning than I want. I need total TAEBO cardio workouts.

Good morning all...

Another rainy day here - blech!

Well, today for me is Leaner Legs and KickMax leg conditioning drills, abs + core max touch core premix and stretchmax #3.

I finally found a stretchmax workout that suits me. I had tried both SM#1 and SM#2 and wasn't impressed by either one. Yesterday I finally tried SM#3 and it was just perfect...I felt like Goldilocks...LOL!!!

Mariangeles and Carla: I thought I had a good leg workout going on today, but girls - you got it happening!!! My legs started screaming just reading about your workouts today!

Cathy: I am also trying to find Taebo. I am looking for the basic live series as I heard they are short and the music is great. Man are they hard to find! I am becoming possessed!

Good Morning ladies.

Great work outs!

I haven't done anything yet today...planning on cardio though at some point.

I think I'm gonna head upstairs soon to the baby's room and begin the organization process of SOME of his gifts. I was going to wait until I go out on leave but there's so much stuff...I don't want to feel rushed....Plus the fact I have to write out tons of thank you notes along with envelopes for them AND the birth announcements I'll be sending so I think I have plenty to do from now until he is born!

Well, I'm off!

Good morning, all! Today I did Push Pull. I did the leg presses with a 10lb dumbell, and can't believe how hard they were! My, I've lost a lot of conditioning.

Sandra - what is Supersets and Push and Pull like? Let me know how often you use them....:)

Yesterday I recieved my Slow and Heavy series ( I STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN THE LEGS AND GLUTES AND KPC - GRRRR) but anyways, I did the Chest and Back last night and really didn't feel it as much as I had anticipated, UNTIL this morning! Goodness, my chest feels fried and I am loving it!

Because my legs and glutes and KPC dvd didn't come in yet, I am re-working my rotation again and starting into my Slow and Heavy rotation for the next 6 weeks. I am using that Tank Top rotation but with S&H instead, and going to substitute the Get Ripped Taibo for KPC until it comes.......

Mariangeles - you will love the "Get Ripped Taibo" - those are the the only two I have kept around! Well, I also kept the Abs and Butt Taibo, which really do focus on that :)

Today my husband is joining me for Biceps and Tripeps and Shoulders on the S&H and we are going for a walk/jog with the dog afterwards. I want him to know how priceless Cathe is, so I can get the Hardcores towards the beginning of fall :)
 
A very good afternoon all you fit ladies,

you never guess what happened to me on my run...I decided to run a loop I had cycled and skated last Summer. But I've never run it. So off I went, tralalala, running along the dike, in the glaring sun, crossing the dike and I just stood still... where on earth was that road. I stood there in total bewilderment (is that the phrase?), looking for this road.. I was sure it used to be there, then I noticed this sign that they'd closed the road. Appparently they covered it up with dirt and rocks. I think the expression on my face must have been priceless. Anyways, turned round and went back the way I came. Still can't believe a road can disappear like that! My run was a mere 13K instead of the 15K I had planned, but despite my break in search of this non-existing road I passed the 10K mark in 1:07:31, which is slightly faster than last week. Things are really looking good for my race.

Hey everyone! i only did 2 workouts so far this week!!!! Pathetic huh?

Today i am doing the l/g and an ab marathon. i also may do Allstep or RS depending on how fried my legs get!

Today I did GS LEgs (I go light on the weights because although I had back surgery a few years ago for a herniated disc, leg exercises aggravate my back the next day if I go heavy, BUT I love the floor portion), CM and now off in a little while to do 1 hour on the ellioptical.

Today I did Bootcamp,first premix everything but core and than gymstyle legs floorwork ,after that bootcamp core premix and at last stretch max
1e.
And a few hours work in the garden,there is a lot of weeds,
"'who wants to help me" !! lol

After all that workout and work in the garden my back is painfull,
I need a massage!! x(

Well I haven't been feeling very good. I think I have a virus so yesterday I didnt do any working out and as I suspected today felt HUGE! So sick or not I did ME and even added 8 more pounds to the barbell when doing squats and lunges. It did feel really good! So later I will attempt some form of cardio. Do you all workout when you are sick? I always go through the OMG i HAVE to workout then the OMG will it make me sicker. Being a fitness fanatic isn't always easy :)
