Summer Shape Up Training Questions - Cathe or Educated Crowd

Annabelle2

Cathlete
I am working on my summer shape up plan. My goals are body fat reduction and more definition without losing my cardio capacity. I have read several plans and most recommend small amounts of cardio such as only 3 times a week, 1 long and 2 short intervals -- I always do more so I really don't want to take it down too much, I would like some guidance or opinions on what I have so far also, I am an hour glass with a tendency to hold fat in my lower abdominal and upper thigh area and I will be eating clean:

any ideas are welcome and requested!!!!

4 weeks of:
S - Yoga
M - Intervals - 45 minutes, floor legwork, abs
T - S&H Chest and Back, Short Cardio
W - Hour Cardio, floor legwork, abs
T - S&H Shoulders, Legs and Glutes, Yoga
F - Steady State Step, floor legwork, abs
S - S&H Tris and Bi's, short interval cardio

4 Weeks of:
S - Yoga
M - Steady State Step, floor legwork, abs
T - GS BS and B, Short interval cardio
W - Hour Steady State Cardio such as Kickbox, floor legwork, abs
T - GS Legs, Yoga
F - Long Interval cardio, floor legwork, abs
S - GS Chest and Tris, Short Cardio w a blast at the end

and finally 4 weeks of:
S - Yoga
M - PUB, Short interval Cardio
T - Long Steady State Step, floor legwork, abs
W - PLB, Yoga
T - Long Interval Cardio
F - Muscle Endurance, Short interval cardio
S - Long Steady State Cardio, floor legwork, abs

This should take me into May with 12 weeks which should be time to lose about 10 or 15lbs or enough body fat to really see my muscles - hopefully

annabelle,
what you have planned looks good. It looks like you are doing freestyle for the lower body. Alot of people on these forums swear by that type of training. I havent done that yet so let me know how it works for you. You are probably at the hardest point as far as losing weight or more fat. I remember you from the firm and you have made an amazing transformation. I wish I had the will power you have ,especially with the eating part. goodluck

Laura - Thank you Very much! I don't know if you would call it Freestyle exactly, I have the books but I really just try to make I do some legwork almost every day and I try to alternate standing and floor when possible. I truly hope this works - I could not decide between the pyramids or CTX UBS and Leaner Legs for the last month but I have time to think about it!
