Summer Fitness Check in May 24-29

Good Morning Girls,

How is everyone do'in? Im doing better now that my favorite coffee place opened today.It was closed yesterday b/c it was a holiday and it threw major wrench in my day:-( Thats what you call high maintance!
Today I am going to try and force myself to do Kickboxing. I use to do kickboxing a couple of times a week and I think it really helps with the waistline but I don't enjoy doing it. Hate it actually! But I am going to force myself to do it twice a week and see what happens.I am also going to work UB today.
Eating was really good yesterday.Are we gonna post any pictures at the end of the week? If we are gonna post them it will probably be Monday or Tuesday before I can have my picture taken.Im working nights all weekend. I hope no one feels like they shouldn't post anything b/c I haven't been 100% faithful either but if we keep putting it off will we EVER be happy enough with ourselves to post them?
Thats it for me.Im gonna go tidy up a bit and then workout.

I never took pics, oh, I am so glad!!!! My eating was good yesterday, and I did HSC. I really like that workout. Have a great day!!

I will also have to get someone to take my pics. EEEK! Anyway today is step of some sort for cardio then abhits later I will do strenght training. Most likely will do fit tv legs and glutes. I can't weight to get the full version of this one. So how is everyone feeling about summer? I for one am worreid it's going to be a hot one In denver. Wehave been having 90's and high 80's. Hope everyone has great workouts!

It would be great if we could take our pictures ourselves b/c I know DH is gonna be laughing at me.He is such an idiot!:)
Today I did the GS UB and Powerstrike 2.SO yes....I made myself do kickboxing and my arms are so tired.I went to wal-mart and picked up lightbulbs,a note book,and something else and I had to pick the shortest line b/c I thought my arms were gonna give out. I am going to be very sore tomorrow.

Lorihart, don't you hate it when you can't get good coffee? It makes my day too. Good luck with the kickboxing, but if you still don't like it, don't worry. You might as well do something you enjoy. :) Life is short. :) It looks like you are working it!

Let me just say I am not in good shape. I will post pics because I promised I would. :) When is June 1? On a Tuesday? Can I be a couple days late? Maybe Wednesday? :)

This morning I ran for 45 minutes. Yesterday I ran 2 1/2 miles and did HSC. Later I am going to do a segment of abs on Coremax. Eating is going well. I am eating very clean, and I am starving all the time. :0 I have only been eating clean for 2 days, so it's not like I am suffering all that much.

Good Morning,

I am up bright and early and I am going to try and get a good run in before work today.That way I have it over and done b/c there is no way I am lifting any weights.
I knew I was going to be sore today.Sometimes kickboxing alone makes me sore but I did UB before kickboxing and now my arms are toast.So all I want to do is cardio.

Lori-I am glad you are posting pictures regardless.I haven't changed at all either.And I doubt I will in the next few days.Well, I could still get good coffee but DH and I have started going to this little coffee place to suppopst his friends who own it.Now I have went from regular coffee to having Irish Cream coffee.I love it.I don't know how many calories are in it and I don't really care.Its not a creamy coffee,its just a tbsp syrup added to my coffee so it shouldn't be to bad.

Anyway, I am going to try and moving my legs now.Sometimes they feel like led in the mornings.

Good Morning everyone....Eating has been ok. I have worked out the last 2 days, and I am going to today. Everyone sounds like they are getting back on track, I am too. Hope everyone has a good day!!!

Eating has been ok and I have done plenty of workouts. Today will be cardio on treadmill,abs and laster in the day I will do super/sets.

Hope everyone is having a nice day. Our weather in Denver finally cooled of!

Hi Ladies,

Yesterday I did a 40 minute interval run on the elliptical machine and 20 minutes on the stepper. This morning I did MIS and was planning on running since it has cooled down here today. I ended up working through lunch instead trying to get everything done before my surgery tomorrow. I won't be around for a few days I'm sure.

Terri-if you don't mind, I'll either call or email you when I get home from the hospital. Have fun watching your son skydive (that is what you're doing this weekend, right?)

I'm afraid our thread will be gone in a few days. Does anyone want to continue this one or start another one? I really like seeing what everyone else is doing and getting to know you all better. It is probably a very busy time with the kids getting out of school and summer vacations starting. Just a suggestion.

Take Care Ladies and keep up the good work.

I did Lowmax this afternoon, and I think I am going to do the MM timesaver. I am trying to motivate myself.

How is everyone? We are getting closer to picture taking.....OH NO!:eek: Who as been starving all week? Just joking!
I have been doing pretty good the last couple of days. I sort of skipped dinner last night b/c I didn't get off work until 6:30 and I had picked enough before hand.Then DH said that he was going to get a snack last night and I was soooooooo in the mood for nachos and I would have went for it.BUT when I looked he was a sleep, I was 1/2 disappointed and 1/2 releived! How weird is that? I guess my mind was saying no while my belly was saying yes (and I wasn't even hungry)
Today I am going for a run outside and I have to go soon b/c it will be warm later on.I may do some suntanning:eek: And maybe not...the flies have been really bad around here.

Lori- Did you see my post about my Florida trip? I was talking to a friend yesterday and she is trying to gear up 5 girls to go.Im game! I can't wait.How hot is it down there in October? Warm enough for me, I bet.

Anyway, I am also doing legs today.My UB is still sore from tuesdays workout.

My picture will be a bit late unless I get my friend to get over here and take it:) Be glad lori that you didn't cave to the nachos. Now you can eat more today :) Just kidding! I am not sure what I will be doing for cardio today yet. But I have ab work planned and power hour from fittv. Have fun with your run!

Hi Ladies,

I didn't get the nachos i wanted but I did get to have some wings last night:) But I didn't eat very much.The deep fried stuff was actually making me a little sick.We went out for a couple of drinks with some friends that we haven't done anything with in forever.I never go out on a Thursday night so I didn't know many people but holy cow....if there were 100 women there, 95 of them were overweight, if not obese.And it was hard not to notice b/c they weren't trying to hide it.They had tight clothes on and short skirts.I feel bad for people who are like that, I am sure they don't want to be.
Other then that,eating was great yesterday. I had a good run and I did Coremax.My abs are sore today.
Today,I think,I am going for another run and I need to do either legs or UB.My UB is finally not sore.

Hi Lori, Looks like just us two here these last couple of days. Glad you had fun last night. I went out with a friend for a bit myself. I ate pretty clean though. Yesterday when I did power hour on fittv I was amazed how short it was. So today I am doing a full body like supersets that i have on dvd. I will be doing HSC too and adding more weight then cathe to make this a harder workout. I am going to do abs today as well. I didn't care for coremax and got rid of it. I like ab hits a lot :) Hope you have a great weekend!

To Diana- hope you are recovering well from your surgery. If you need anything let me know!

Yeah, its a bit slower then it use to be.Thats it...busy lives.I don't check in as much as I use to either.
I didn't care for coremax alot but I did a workout on Thursday and i am so sore right now.I am glad I jept it.
Eating as been going good.Although it is 4:30 in the morning here (i am at work) and I am starving!
Today I just went for a walk and then did GS Tri,Bic and Shou.
I am not sure what todays workout will be.Depends on the weather.

Hi Ladies,

Yeah, I am home now. The first 24 hours post-op were pretty rough, but I am feeling much better this morning. Could be because I took some pain pills when I got up.:) I have no energy. I get up for a couple of hours, then am too tired and need a nap. I will try to take a walk later today, maybe just around the block.

Terri-I received your package but haven't opened it yet. I will be sending you an email here shortly.

HI ladies,

Diana- I am gald you are feeling pretty good.Gotta love pain killers! Im not afraid to take pills either.People who suffer threw headaches amaze me. Im sure you will have a speedy recovery and before you know it, you will be back at it.

I just finished my workout.I did coremax,30 min run,4 imax intervals and MM.Pretty weird workout.I just did whatever I was in the mood to do.
Before I know it it will be time to go back to work.
