Summer Fitness Challenge May 16-23

What happened to all the challengers? You know our time isn't up yet. I think your all just freakin' out about having to post your pictures!:) I did okay over the weekend. Saturday was a rest day, since I had so many other things to do. Sunday was Bodymax, Monday-7 mile run, SS lower body blast and boot camp core, today was Imax 3. I am tired.

Maybe now that I started a new thread you will checkin'.

Hi Diana- I was wondering what happened to this thread. Sorry I didn't call you last week but looks like you were busy. I had a good workout weekend but yesterday not so good. I wasnt feeling well and oonly did 20 mins on tread mill and 20 mins of standing legwork. Today I actually still dont feel great but did basic step and body fusion back to back. I feel better now that I acomplished that :) Hope I am up for weight work later.

Good Morning Ladies,

My excuse.....I have been super busy with work and pretty much everything else.
I hate working days b/c I can't fit my workouts in and I hate working nights b/c....well....Im up all night! Bottom line, wish I didn't have to work at all! I had to take two overtime shifts Mon and Tues and I have to go back tomorrow night for 1 shift.
Needless to say, my workouts haven't been the best. If I can fit an 30 min run in I am happy. And yesterday I didn't do anything! So today, after I finish my coffee I am doing cardio and weights and maybe tonight I will do legs. I gotta catch up.
I will also be out of town this weekend so you won't see me much.

Hi Ladies....I have been back on track, and doing good w/ my workouts. My eating the last 2 days has been stellar, and I am glad for that. I have just been busy too. I did not see a check in, so on I went. Too much too do, and not enough time to do it in. Take care, and talk to you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies,

Glad to see you guys haven't dropped out on me. I figured everyone was busy, it's about time for the kiddos to be getting out of school. My boys' last day is June 8th. Anyway, yesterday I managed to get in Imax 3, and today I went for a 7 mile run. I did walk a tiny bit though. Tomorrow will be weights, not sure which one yet.

Hi Ladies,
Today went pretty well. I did 1/2 of Imax 2 (for a change) a 30 min run and GS chest and triceps. Tomorrow will be a run and legs.

Hi girls, I haven't worked out for a week or maybe longer. :( I am agraid to step on the scale. I have been eating a lot of junk. It's summer and I am stuffing my face! I am sorry I haven't posted in a while. I am in a bad funk and I need to get out of it!

Lori- Sorry to hear about your funk:( I hope you feel better soon. Just get upp and try to do a workout cause as you know it will make you feel so much better! If you need someone to talk to feel free to e-mail me. I have been where you are and we can talk it through :)

Good Morning Gals,

Lori- I know what it feels like to be in a slump. I go through that every now and then, although I don't normal enough anymore then usual I just feel bad for not working out. Prehaps its your bodies way of telling you it needs a break.

I will be going for a run outside today, I think. Its pretty wet here but it looks like the sun is trying to come out. It is 9:14 here now and I won't be running for atleast an hour so I am going to do GS UB before I go.That way, I have it done:) I REALLLLLLYYYYY have to do legs today.I can't beleive how long it as been since I did legs.
Anyway, eating as been o.k. The scale is up but I am also thinking about throwing it threw the window.Took my measurements and they are the same.

I just finished lowmax and feel great. I love that feeling when I have cardio done for the day. I can do weights and core later. Have a great day.

Hi Everyone,

Did my workout early and now I have it over with, yipee! I did GS B,S,B and a 14 kms run. Everything felt good and I had lots of energy when I was running. Normally morning runs suck but this one was pretty good.

Hi Ladies,

This morning was GS Legs and PUB. I have a pre-op appt later so I won't have time for cardio today. Tomorrow I have to be at work early and have meetings all day long. So if I want to work out at all tomorrow, I will just have to suck it up and get up extra early.

LoriS-glad to hear you have your eating under control. Diet is always the hardest part for me.
LoriH-hope you have a great run.
NurseLori-Sorry to hear you are in a funk. Maybe you should just try working out every other day until you start feeling up to doing more.
Terri-Glad to hear you are feeling better.

Hi Lori, Lori, Lori, Diana, Terri:

I was never really a regular with you folks but you helped me get back into a routine.

I'm going to do Imax2 tonight did LM on Tuesday. Looks like I'm at the 4 a week level. Not bad not great. My daughter is home from college - such a wonderful treat. She is doing WW and Cathe to tackle the freshman 15.

Things have been crazy with work, Mother is about to hit bottom (long story) but hasn't quite gotten there - so tough time.

Well just wanted to say hi to everyone.

I haven't been checking in are any of you going on the road trip?
 
Hi everyone......Did some Joyce UB yesterday, and it was almost harder than Cathe UB, maybe it was. I don't know, my arms were fried when I was done. That took me an hour, so last night I did Low Max, 4-7. I love that workout!!! Today is a lower body w/ some cardio.

I am not going on the road trip. I am a Premier Designs Jewler, and our Rally is that week. Even if that wasn't the case, I would probably not go. I am just not a Cathe freak like I used to be, nor do I enjoy this website like I used too. Please excuse me, I am not being rude, you ladies are my friends, I am just being honest. I hardly spend any time here at all anymore.

Good Morning,

I am so impressed with all of these long runs, 7 miles here, 14K there, wow!! I am also impressed with everybody's committment to Cathe and other workouts. That is so great. :)

Well I woke up around 8:00 today with my kids, so I haven't worked out yet. We are going to the park, and then I am going to do HSC when my little one is napping. I hope to get a small run in this evening also.

I have gained 5 lbs. and I am really not surprised.

Thanks to all for everybody's encouragement and nice words. I will check in later.

Happy Friday!! I did get up early and do Rhythmic Step. It is supposed be 92 here today so I might go to the gym later. 90's is way to hot for me to run in, especially since it was in the low 70's last week.

Nurselori-glad to see you aren't so down on yourself today. And playing at the park with your kids does burn calories you know-it counts as exercise too. Have fun, I miss those days when my kids would bike and rollerblade along with me on my runs.

Robyn-nice to hear from you again. Sounds like you are in a whirlwind right now. Hope all is well with you and your family.

Happy saturday!

I woke up eatly and couldnt sleep so did step jump and pump-fit tv version. It seems way too short of a work out. So I did core work right after. I will do strength training later.

Diana- Suppose to be abothe hot one here in denver today! How did the doc appt go? It was great talking to you :)

Lori- I too am glad to see you feeling better. I am e-mailing you after this post. Chin up!

Hi Ladies,

Well it is Saturday and I decided to go shopping at the mall to spend the mothers day gift certificate my family gave me. It's 5:40 and I have yet to work out. I'll probably do wts here in a bit.

Terri-it is sooo hot out today. My DH turned on the sprinkler system and the air conditioning this week.

Hello ladies. Well I ran this morning for the first time in about a week and a half. It felt good to get out there early, before the heat hits us. As you know I live in Florida and it's brutal! :) I did 3 miles. I am happy with that. I am trying to eat better also, because I have been on a week long bingeathon! Have a wonderful Sunday!

yay Lori! I bet you feel so much better now. Good job :) Today I have done nothing yet. I will soon...I plan on a treadmill run and core work today. Not sure what weight workout I will do. I did legs and glutes from fittv yesterday. I love that one! I also did back,shoulders and biceps gym style. So today I think I may do push pull or me.
