Hi all;
Well just finished up BootCamp . Did everything but core 1st; then core & stretch after.

Feels good that my body is slowly working it's way to where I was a little over 2 weeks ago. Although I still have to go easy with some heavy weights due to my surgical site.

Tommorow I have IMAX 2 scheduled , how many times have I said that I just love the fun factor in this workout? LOL tons I think.

Will try to check back in later on to see who has posted.

Gotta eat, shower then go into town to run some errands. Have a great day everyone.
:)

edited for spelling

Hey everyone,

I tried my first Slim Series workout today: Tone it up. It's like the Firm in the sense that it's aerobic weight training. I felt it, just because I haven't been pushing myself so much recently. The real test will be whether I feel it tomorrow. Right now, I'm not sure whether I will (I may eat those words in the morning!). I'm going to try doing pretty much just Slim Series and maybe one extra cardio and some yoga between now and Tuesday. Then I'll be off to NY and Phila for three days, with a pretty hectic schedule, during which time I doubt I'll get any workouts done.

Vilma, I wouldn't say you're coming back slowly, although I realize you might have gone lower on the barbell work in BC. I'm impressed, although I think I said before your surgery that you wouldn't lose that much ground.

I hope everyone's doing well. Hey Sabine, Elizabeth, Kathy, Lori, Judy, Elizabeth, CinDee, et al. Pinky, I hope things are going better.

Hi everyone,

My quads were surprising sore from SS Shape It Up on Monday and then a step workout yesterday. Lisa, I think you'll be surprised at how certain exercises from SS really creep up on you. As you do more workouts from the series, let me know which ones make you feel it the most. For me, so far it's Shape It Up (with a close second to Firm It Up).

Despite the soreness I pressed through and did Supersets. Having been on vacation and now recovering from being sick I decided to take it a bit 'easier' by doing this workout as opposed to MIS or Power Hour. I'm pretty confident that if I don't totally overdue it now I'll be more than ready to tackle and conquer those workouts in a couple of weeks.

Vilma- Great job w/ Boot Camp. Have fun with IMAX 2!

Have a great day everyone!

Hi everyone. Today is DH birthday so we're all going to meet him for lunch since today is his long work day and that rules out dinner. Later I plan to spin since the weather is possibly rainy. It'll probably be a Spinervals hill workout. Yesterday was the first half of Spinervals "Have Mercy". I wanted to do the whole thing-or at least 90 minutes of it-but I got a little nauseated and couldn't shake it. So I went upstairs and did all the Timesaver upper body workout and two of the ab workouts.

Vilma, you impress me with tackling BC after surgery, no matter what weight you're using! I wouldn't say you're coming back slowly, either!

Hope everyone's health is continuing to improve! I'll check in tonight to see what everyone else is up to. We now have DSL after years of dial-up (we live kind of in the boonies) so checking in is WAY easy and fast!

RE: Summer BLAST Wednesday 7/7 (formerly Spring into S...

Hello all!

Been busy today- went to meet the leasing agent for one of our new locations and it went well! We have the third location picked out and am in the middle of negotiations there. So no, I haven't done a workout yet today. Add to that I had about ONE hour of sleep because I just found out last night that we are getting a new furbaby (it's like Christmas Eve!)!- Yea!! He's seven weeks old now and we'll get him in a few weeks. When I figure out how (w/ DH's help- the computer whiz) to post some photos I'll share some of the adorable pics I got from our breeder.

Sabine and Lisa- you have my curiosity up about the Slim Series- I want to mix things up a bit (but you know Cathe is tops with me and is my mainstay!:)) in my routine. But ya' know, I still always reach for Cathe (except when I do Yoga stretch)- can't seem to get enough! Let us know how you like it and what results you got.

Sabine- glad you took it a bit easier. Recuperating can be slower than we want at times but you'll get there!:) Good luck in your courses this summer!

Cindee- have fun with DH! Spinervals sound pretty intense. When is your big ride again? Good job on the Timesaver UB and abs!

Lisa- enjoy Slim Series! You're just getting back after a really trying period in your life. Your rotation sounds great!

Vilma (shywolf- just love that name, too!)- good job on renaming the thread! AND also on your w/o. Man, BC then IMAX2- WOW!! I agree, I don't think you're coming back slowly- I've just started doing BC and I didn't have surgery!! You go, girl!

Hellos to Kathy, Susan, Judy, Pinky and Lori!

Elizabeth
