From an earlier thread of mine I had gotton on the topic or increasing protein without increasing sat. fats. For those of you who are doing bfl or the zone and weight train, How do you increase your protein? For the past two day I have tried to keep a guage of what I have eaten as far as protein and realized that it is only about 26 to 28% . After researching bfl and zone I was curious as to if you stick stricly to the 40-40-20 or the 40-30-30 ratios and if so how do you increase your protein without increasing fats . Mainly saturated fats. Are you drinking low carb high protein drinks? I would really like to do the 40-40-20 ratio but can't seem to get the protein up without increasing the fat over 20%. I lift fairly heavy and do at least 5 to 6 days of cardio. That is why I am really intrested in the 40-40-20 ratio. I hope this makes sense. Karen
