Anybody have any good reccommendations for protein powders or premade shakes??? Im looking for a powder you either mix with milk or water and need to know a good brand and/or flavor(s). Thanks much! Judy

I really like Dave Draper's protein powder. I actually got the
web address from this forum. I have tried lots of protein shakes
and this one I can get on auto ship and it tastes pretty good in
my opinion. His web site is: davedraper.com.

I'm the one who suggested the powder at DaveDraper.com. Glad someone went there and liked the product! "Bomber Blend" (dave draper was known as the "blond bomber" in the 60's) comes in vanilla and chocolate. I like both, but prefer vanilla. I mix it with water and cinnamon every morning. It can be mixed with milk, but gets a tad clumpy. Mixed with oj, it is a special treat! Jeanne

I am a chocolate nut and I even like it mixed with a tuperware
shaker at work for those moments I need a quick snack. I also
like to mix it up a blender in the mornings and have frozen mixed
fruit or strawberries (not in sugar or water just individually
frozen) which makes it thicker and like a shake. By the way, Thanks alot for the tip! I have gotten many tips from this forum.

Hi! I've fallen in love with EAS' Myoplex Ready-to-Drink shakes in chocolate fudge. They come in regular and low-carb. There are also two sizes depending on your desired protein intake and price range. The smaller size comes in 4-packs and contains 20 grams of protein and the larger ones have 30 grams of protein. Also, they contain other nutrients, are 99% fat free, and don't contain aspartame.

I've tried various protein powders and can't find one that is truly palatable and nicely textured. Most of them end up being lumpy or overly thick in texture, not to mention, the taste is sometimes just plain disgusting. The best part about Myoplex, though, is that it's ready to drink--no blending, no shaking, no need for milk or other liquid.

You can buy Myoplex at GNC. There are other flavors too but I haven't tried them. Good luck in your search.
