Suggestions for IMAX-ish videos

I like to do interval training workouts twice a week, and as much as I love IMAX 1, 2 and 3, after 2+ years of rotating them, I'm just getting bored to tears with doing the same interval workouts over and over again.

Would anyone have any suggestions for interval-type workouts from another instructor that follows pretty closely to the IMAX workouts in format (2-3 minutes of steady state, 1-2 minutes anaerobic/"blast", recovery, repeat 10-ish times) and intensity? I already have Intense Moves by Gin Miller, but don't like to do that one too often because I find it to be a bit too easy.

I'm just looking for something to give me a bit more variety to choose from, at least until Cathe gets around to making IMAX 4. (Hint, hint) :)

Thanks!

Do you have Cathe's Cardio Fusion? It has 4 cardio interval workouts (the main workout and 3 premixes). Sorry I don't have suggestions for any other instructor. HTH!

Chocolate IS the answer, regardless of the question.

Mindy Mylrea's "Interval Express" (on a combo DVD with "Action Packed Workout"), and her "Awesome Intervals" (stand-alone workout on one disc) follow the format you prefer very closely. She also incorporates a med ball very creatively in some segments.

Also, Mindy's "Cardio Toolbox" has a 17-minute step-interval workout that has briefer step/interval blasts but are good for when you want a more compressed interval workout.

Mindy's intervals, IMHO, are a good complement to Cathe's; she incorporates a lot more fast-foot coordination+cardio stuff in them that are really a nice change. A lot of people don't care for her presentation but I like it; she's saltier than Cathe's but that's part of her charm.

I would like to heartily second A-Jock's suggestion of checking out Mindy Mylrea's workouts. She is a firm believer in interval workouts and will make you sweat just as much as Cathe. The Interval/Express-ActionPacked DVD is a real value and I use this workout quite a bit. She does have quite a "zany" personality that turns some people off, but pesonally I get a kick out of her!

How about Tracey Staehle's High Intensity Step Mix?
Its a little longer in its step pattern and blasts but i think its a great interval style workout.

Gay Gasper's newest is sort of an interval type workout where she does step combo's followed by a 'blast'. Its easier than cathe's but nice to do on a day where you dont want to kill yourself. Plus the music in this one is great!

Hope this helps. I would LOVE to see an IMAX 4. I suggested this a while ago, but i dont think Cathe saw.

What about Hardcore Extreme? Doesn't it have a ton of premixes? Or better yet, the original Interval Max, whatta doozy that baby is!! I cannot do high impact anymore, and will really miss this one.

I hope Cathe makes more low impact/high intensity cardio workouts, they are the easiest on "me poor joints!":7
