Suggestion & Help for over 50 :)

HI,
I am new to the forum, but have used Cathe's exercise videos in the past. I recently ordered the Pryamid Upper body and Muscle Endurance, and bought a barbell weight set so i could try some other videos.
I need suggestions for Cathe's tapes using the barbells and weights that are not too intimidating for a beginner/intermediete.
I aslo would like to try some of her tapes that are aerobic, but keep in mind, I have two left feet(Maybe three:>)
and I like the ones that are EASY to follow. Gee, am I asking too much?
I am 56 and have been exercising at home for over 15 years, but staying in the beginner mode a little too long. I want to move up a notch(but a small notch)

Hi Marsha, and welcome to the world of Cathe.

As far as weight tapes to try out your new barbell on I recommend the Pure Strength series, it is great and not too fast paced for a beginner wanting to move to intermediate. Also Pyramid upper body uses only dumbbells so be prepared for that (just happened to do this one this morning). Maximum Intensity Strength is another good strength tape to try. Humm cardio not too difficult to follow let me see....... Interval Max 1 isn't hard choroegraphy wise, neither is Maximum Intensity Cardio (though it is long but can be broken up into 2 workouts), Cardio Kicks is fun as is Kick, Punch and Crunch if you like kickboxing. The CTX series is shorter but the routines are intense and take some time to learn but it is a good series also.

Oh and Interval Max 1 and Maximum Intensity Cardio are also very modifiable for lower impact or if you just can't get the moves down. Cathe does offer in IMAX 1 lower impact substitutions.
