success with Pilates as a low impact workout.....

Don't get me wrong...I love my Cathe workouts--but, they are too intense for me to do on a daily basis.

Wondering if anyone has had success with the Winsor Pilates system???
 
I haven't tried the Winsor system and I don't do Pilates exclusively, but adding Pilates to my workouts (weights, cardio and yoga) really helped improve my core strength, which is a tough area for me to strengthen. It's very form-specific, so if you don't feel the exercises, you might not be doing them properly. (I'm sure my form is still off on a number of exercises.) Give yourself time to learn them because the minutia matter. Good luck!:)
 
I have winsor pilates.These exercises are very useful when you have back problems. I have lordosis in my lower body and pilates is great to me.These exercises strenght the abs and it will help you making you walk more erect. :) :)

I have had great success with Winsor Pilates. I have strengthened my core as well as my lower back muscles. Her beginning tapes, including Body Slimming and her back workout are wonderful. Not only do I get the strengthening benefits of these workouts, they are relaxing as well. I really like Mari Winsors instruction and low-key manner. In my opinion, she's an excellent Pilates instructor.
