Substitutions for August rotation

Hi All,

Tomorrow calls for HSC on the August rotation. I don't have any high step work outs. I do have a high step and HCEX. I know that HCEX contains segments of HSC. I also don't have MIC for Friday.

These are the DVDs that I do have:

KPC & L&G
CM
all the Gym Styles
HCEX
Imax 3
Imax 2 & C&W
PH+
S&H
PUB/PLB
KM
LM

Any suggestions on how I can do a comparable work out to HSC or MIC with what I have.

Hey Dallas!

Why don't you do PH and then do the step portion of one of the IMAX workouts to sub for HSC? If you really want to get creative, do a body part from PH and then do a step combo from one of teh IMAX workouts...that should do the trick. Either way, I think would be good.

I just got MIC and haven't done it yet, but from what I understand is considered advanced steady state cardio. So you could do a could steady state run on the treadmill...but work hard. Don't do intervals, but you could increase the speed every half-mile or so to "build" intensity.

Just some suggestions...

Just to add what Marietta said about MIC. It's about a half hour of cardio and another half hour of step. So, use your treadmill and choose a step workout that is not interval.

Ooops, going back to the list of DVD's you have, I might suggest a step only premix from one of the IMAX's or LM.

Thanks girls! I like that PH+ a step DVD for tomorrow. A treadmill run + step for Friday. My treadmill run should be steady too? I always steadily increase my treadmill speed, so I always get to my max of 7.5-8.0 on most runs. This is great!

Oh, I also have ME + BC. How could I have forgotten that one after doing BC twice on Monday. I have MM, too. Geez, I can't keep track of my own DVDs.

Would you do MM or ME instead of PH? I've never done PH, so I can't wait now.
