Hey I don't have the pyramid workouts... does anyone have any suggestions of both and upper body or lower body workout I can sub. with? Thanks!

Oh boo lol. Ok looks like I'm gonna have to splurge and spend some money. Do you think these DVD are worth it?

you should see nice progress from using Cathe's pyramid workouts. In theory, you could tailor any weight program as a pyramid workout. The concept is to go from light/higher reps to heavy/lower reps, back to light weights. So an example pyramid would be:

lightest weight -12 reps
medium weight -10 reps
heavy weight -8 reps
medium weight -10 reps
light weight -12 reps

But YES pyramid is worth the investment :)

So basically, just wanna make sure I get this right, you use 3 different weights for each exercise. Like if I was doing bicep curls it would look kinds like this...

10 lbs.- 12 reps
12 lbs.- 10 reps
15 lbs.- 8 reps
12 lbs.- 10 reps
10 lbs.- 12 reps
??

Do you happen to know what the benefits of this type of weight lifting are?

I'm not sure what the benefits are--I think it's just another way of training to fatigue and shock the muscles. I just did PUB this morning and am sore already! I absolutely ADORE Cathe's Pyramid workouts. The ab work at the end of PUB is probably one of Cathe's best and PLB always has me sweating like crazy! (Oh, and just WAIT for the bicep section in PUB--you'll be dyin'!!!)

I agree with FF (Debbie) when she says this dvd is worth every single penny!!!!

I ahve ordered pyramid but it has not come yet. Hoping it comes in time for tomorrow's pyramid legs. Yesterday I substituted Bodymax2 upper body only repeating using the pyramid method. Let me tell ya, it WORKED!!!! By late last night I was feeling that great feeling of slight soreness. I thought os subbing Push & Pull legs repeat 3x's pyramid style if it doesn't come in time.
Mailman just came, going to go check!!!
