So i am stuck at the last 10lbs! And i am getting a little bord of my routine. I was doing a 3x a week full body work out. With high reps, power hour, sts full body. I was doing this at the gym and enjoyed it but i am over it. ;) I am thinking of buying sts in the next few months esp with the cold month comming i want to have some motivation. Is it really worth the price? IS it do able at the gym? ANd if i cant make to the gym is it ok at home? Also i find that with some of Cathe loner work outs i tend to burn out at the end. I am ready be done at the 50/60 mins of working out. How long are the work outs? any adv or suggestions??

I definitely think it is worth it. The workouts are around 50 to 60 minutes. I work out at home, but I've seen other people mention that they do STS at the gym. & you certainly don't get bored!!! I saw my best muscle definition ever throughout STS.

STS is definitely worth the price, and if you keep up with your cardio and watch your diet, I'm sure you'll have no problem losing that 10 pounds. Actually, don't worry too much about the scale, because your body will change for the better even though you might not see a huge difference on the scale. I noticed this for myself. At the weight I am right now I fit into a size 4, but before I did STS I may have been around the same weight, but fit into a size 6.

I think the longest workout is about 60 minutes (or 70?). I did it at home, so I can't comment on the ease of doing the program at the gym. If you do it at home, you'll need a barbell rack because MESO 3 gets really heavy and you won't be able to hoist the barbell over your head.

The variety keeps it really interesting, challenging and fun.

It is ABSOLUTELY worth every penny! It is my guaranteed plateau buster, and I come away from it looking better every time. I get muscles in places I didn't even think were possible on me, and feel SO empowered after the workouts. My DH is doing STS right now for the first time, because he got tired of seeing me get all the results, even though we were both working out. He's on Meso 2 and he's LOVING it!

I also totally agree w/what Melanie said about scale vs size when it comes to weight loss and STS. I'm happier right now at a weight that would have made me cry years ago, because of the body recomposition that I rec'd from STS. I also (on my most recent round of STS) lost a couple of lbs, and went from a size medium tops, & 4-6 bottoms, to a XS-S in tops, and (a slightly baggy  ) size 2 pants. I definitely had no plans on getting that small, again! (high school size!). But, like Melanie said, the scale didn't move much, @ a height barely over 5'0 my scale still waivers from 118-120, but that weight made me a size 6-8 before!

As for the workouts, I think they'd be fine at the gym, or at home - although since Meso 1 moves so quickly it could be easier at home? They all hit around the 50-60 min. mark, so you'll be burning out just in time, lol. I personally prefer to do my rounds of STS in the cooler months, so I think it'll work out just fine for you ;)

Let us know what you decide :)

I am on my first round of STS and loving it!
As for those stubborn suckers...Its really the food that you eat that makes the difference:(

I would love it if it was the exercise that did the most but for me anyways its what goes into my mouth that enables the last 10 to stay;)

Let me just vouch for "Kikster": I met her at the Disney RT and she looks FABULOUS!!!!! Whatever she is doing WORKS!!! If you saw her you would be inspired to buy STS many times over. In fact, I think I will start STS again!

BTW, I love STS as well. I highly recommend it. (I just don't look like Kikster........yet!)

meso1 would be best at home to keep up the speed they do in the dvd. 2 and 3 are really perfect for the gym, you could even sub in some machines you just dont have at home, and the workouts translate well on paper.

Hmm, maybe that will be next round of STS see how it works out at the gym.
