STS strength and Insanity rotation?

Has anyone designed a rotation with these 2 programs? I have 1 month left to go in my Insanity program, and I know I want to do STS strength next, but I don't want to lose all the cardio endurance I have gained from Insanity (plus I find these workouts totally addictive, which is weird because before this, I hated cardio). Anyway, if anyone has put together a rotation with these 2 series, I'd love to see it. Thanks!

sorry to intrude on this thread but I would LOVE to see one too

can I ask you a question: did you lose a ton from just doing Insanity?

i ask becauase I have 20 lbs to lose. I just ordered Insanity AND STS

i can't decided if I should JUST do Insanity as its intended and in 60 days so a 6 month STS rotation doing 3 Insanity workouts a week for cardio and the three STS workouts for weights

or just do the 6 month rotation with both.

i would just follow the STS rotation and days that you aren't lifting(3 days) plug in the Insanity workouts in the order they have. the STS rotations are 3 or 6 months

I'd like to know, too! I need to lose 20# baby weight, and am wavering on ordering the Insanity program...but not lifting weights .....? I would be afraid to lose strength....

and am curious too to hear anyone's results from the Insanity program...am leary of odering yet another set of dvd's that I would never use!

Thanks everyone! Have a good weekend

Since I asked the original question, I can't say anything about a combined program. But I am just about to do my last day of Month 1 of Insanity and I think it's awesome! I can't do a scale or measurements (exacerbates my eating disorder) but I can tell you that I have muscle definition in my shoulders and back that I didn't have after my first round of STS, and I now definitely have a 2-pack tummy, instead of flab (I'm hoping for a 4-pack after the second month). There are no weights, but you are doing so many push-ups (regular, moving, and push-up jacks!) that you really do work your chest, shoulders and triceps quite a bit. I don't think I have lost any strength doing this program, and my cardio endurance is through the roof. Honestly, even Cathe's IMAX workouts seem easy now, after Insanity. I totally recommend getting it, and doing it at least once as planned.

But I would still love to hear if anyone has done a combined program, so if you have, please share your rotation and results! Thanks!

There's a thread called "Meso 3 & Insanity/Build Muscle & Lose Fat " by janiejoey. Did you see it? I can't c&p the link with my computer, but it's on page 2 of this forum. It's a planned out rotation with only Meso 3 and Insanity, but you could just use any Meso with it, I'm sure. Looks good!

Thanks Janie!!!

I just opened my box of insanity.... honestly, I am scared to DEATH of it!

I can't wait to assimilate this into all my Cathe stuff and your rotation looks like a great way to do just that!

Thanks for all the effort involved in this!!!

is it a good workout for beginners?

I would say no to this. I know some would say you can work at your own pace, but I do not think this is a good program for a beginner.
I think this program is for an experienced intermediate to advanced exerciser.
