Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone! I have a feeling today might be a "no exercise" recovery day for many and tomorrow morning might bring a different form of recovery all together ;)

Well today I am teaching Boot Camp at 5:30pm so that will be my day's activity.

My Paddy Day Sentment:

Eat (good food)

Drink (healthy liquids)

and be Merry (merry fitness)

Wishing you lots of luck today :D

Good morning Cathe and all :D!

So far this week I have been doing brisk walking - including lots of hill work on a gravel path. Today it was icy so I had to do an indoor walking tape :(. I will do an outdoor walk this afternoon if the weather clears up :).

I did a 3 mile indoor walk with Leslie today and Stretch Max with the band. I could really do with more stretching. I was still a little stiff from STS I guess. Also does dog walking count?

Today was BM2 Timesaver Cardio + abs. Last night I did some yoga and I was feeling it in all of my muscles this morning. It felt so good to stretch out! I really wanted to sleep in this morning, but I knew I had to get up in a hour to go to work so I figured I might as well get up and workout. sigh.

Happy St. Patricks Day everyone!

Hi Everyone ! :)

I did tough core from coremax and stretch#1 from stretchmax.

It's going to be warm and sunny today so I'm going outside for a long walk later .

Have a great St. Patty's Day!:)

Top O' the Mornin' to Ya!

Today is "follow the leader day". The kids have had me sweating and breathing hard "following" them around the house. Some of the activites they had me doing while we are getting ready for school was having me hop from the couch to the kitchen (with my 7yo son). Skipping UP the stairs whilst holding my hair in a ponytail (with my 5yo daughter)...Not easy! She made it look so graceful. The kids rode their bikes while I pushed our 3yo son in the stroller and we raced to school. Guess who won...they did!;) What a fun work out so far. They have lots more ideas in store for me after school, I can't wait.

I did get up at my usual time 4:30am and did the warm up only on disc 13 just to 'wake up'. Then pilates based abs. I love the mermaid. Then the extended stretch and a few extra minutes of quiet time just for me. ahhh.

Cathe, do you think it would be ok to practice my push ups? I used to not even be able to do one complete pu on my toes and now I am up to 16! Last week I was able to do all of the pu work on my toes and that felt amazing.

Happy St. Paddy's Day to You and to all of My Fellow STSers.

Hi everyone. I did the warm up and ab section from Butts and Guts this morning. I have to run to the mall this afternoon so I will park as far away as I can and get some walking in also.

Have a great St. Patrick's Day everyone.

Bev

So far my recovery week was a 2 mile run on Sunday, before our St. Patty's day parade. I am not a runner, but I did complete this race in 31 minutes.

Monday was a rest day, boy was my body sore especially my hips.

Tuesday (today) is very nice out and I am thinking of going for a walk, if not it will be a cardio dvd of some sort.

The rest of the week will be cardio dvds.

Happy St Patty's Day!

Well, I just started week 4 of meso 1, doing the 6 mth rotation, so my recovery week is still a week and 1/2 away, but wanted to say congrats to those that have finished meso1 and have a great St Patricks day! I am behind, but I still enjoy reading the checkins! :D

Just got back from kickboxing at lunch...it was about 42 minutes or so and then I stretched for about 10 minutes.
Will do core max and stretch max IIIs later on.

Happy St. Paddy's Day and Happy Birthday to my brother - lucky stiff to have his birthday today!

I did only 1 cardio session during rest week....I feel kinda bad about that but I decided to spend rest week catching up on things around the house and yard (completed the yard cleanup from the ice storm in Jan) with this out of the way I can really focus on 4 weeks of meso 2 and not stress about not keeping up with other things that were "waiting" for me. It feels good having those things off my to do list! I'm always amazed at how much you working mothers can get done! I work full time, but have no kids and I STILL have a hard time fitting everything in. I'm married to a full time farmer so I have farm chores too after my "day" job is over.

Today I did the "other" Boot Camp (Intensity Series) with lighter weights. Forgot how challenging it could be... worked up a good sweat!

Aaaaahhhh! I just did a 60min/2000m swim routine. Now I feel terrific. I'm enjoying this recovery week to the fullest. :)

Cheers,
Sandra

Tuesday

Today I did Low Max and abs. Yesterday we all got outside and cleaned up the yard, and cleared out the garden box to ready it for planting. The weather here is lovely this week, so taking advantange of that. Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone! :D

Happy St Patricks Day!

Good Evening Everyone!

This morning I did an Imax 2 premix before work and tonight I will walk on the treadmill and do a section of ab circuits. I have to choose an ab circuit routine other than the medicine ball abs, which is my favorite and tend to want to do more than the others. Perhaps I will try stability ball abs again and see how many times I fall off the ball with all the crazy moves :p lol Good thing I live on my own and no one will get to see the stability ball ab show I will be putting on tonight ;) lol

Have a good night everyone.

Mary

Hello,

I ran yesterday 3 miles and ran 3 today also. Drinking plenty of water and TRYING to eat good. Will do some ab work tomorrow.

Today I did stretch max one and ab circuits no equip. abs. <---"feeling it already"

Hope Cathe and all others have a great -- and safe -- St. Patty's Day!

Did an outdoor 45 min run. I forgot how cruel winter has been. It is so nice not to worry about slipping on ice :) Happy St Patricks Day and recovery week everyone!
