Hi Cathe
I'm newbie to your videos, for over 20 years I took group ex classes at health clubs, even became an instructor myself, in Jan 2012 I discovered your videos, WOW I LOVE them all these are far the best classes I have ever experienced, I started the STS program, Im on week 4 (I know should of asked this question before), what can I substitute for the pull ups, I'm doing them in my basement rec room and there is no way to attach bands or a chin up bar, I took tubbing and tried on the top of a door, didn't feel anything, so I just took bands and did the Y pulls you do, but to tell you the truth I really envy when you say how you felt it with the reg pull ups, can you suggest anything that I would get the same result??
Thanks in advance.

Not Cathe here, but would like to try to help.

I think Chest dips can replace pull ups. It uses most of the muscles that a pull up would. Here's a link. You can use a walker to do these exercises. I purchased mine at a second hand store. Here is a link on how to do them.

Hope this helps.

I read some people put a broom handle between 2 chairs and do laying down pullups (hope that makes sense, maybe someone can explain it better)... if you try it just make sure everything is sturdy.

Janie's suggestion is good too... maybe with the right type of walker you can even do the pullups I mentioned above.
