STS Pull-up Tower Question

Chris:

Before I get too excited about this, does it have a weight limit? I am talking about my body weight, not the barbell weight. I would be using it for the beginner/intermediate supine pull-ups.

Blessings,
Heather B.

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV).

We designed the unit to be able to support a maximum load of 300 lbs on the Pullup bar. We still have to have the units tested by an independent lab for saftey and we will have to have a saftey margin established when the actual "maximum load" is listed.

Chris,

Any idea of how easy it will be to assemble/disassemble the pull-up tower? I will need to store it each and every time I work out as my workout area is in my bedroom.

Thanks and congrats on such a cool invention!!!! :D

It is pretty easy to take apart. You just pull some pins out at the bottom of each T-Leg. It should only take you about one minute.

How far apart are the hooks that hold a barbell? I use a different brand of barbells than Cathe uses. One has 36" of bar between the weights and the other only has 32 1/2" of bar between the weights. Would those work with the new pull-up tower? Thanks for any info.

Outstanding. Thanks, Chris! I will definitely order this tower once it's available. :)

Hmmm. I may just have to get a new barbell for this series (mine is only 4' long and can only hold a limited number or weighted plates)...
