STS MESO 2 WORKOUT ONE

As I was doing this workout, I thought that it easier due to the longer breaks and did not expect many DOMs at all.

WRONG!

Yesterday I could hardly move I was so fried and even today I feel the DOMS.

Boy, I was wrong about Meso 2 if all the workouts are this intense.

I am doing the Legs part tonight.
 
I started Meso 2 today. I have to admit, although it was a great workout, i really miss the steady pace of Meso 1. I feel like the breaks were a bit too long making it go very slow for me, but I know Cathe is very calculated in her methods, so we'll see as I move thru it...

Recovery week last week was a nice change since I'm doing 6 mo. and hadn't had a "break" for 8 wks.
 
I did it (disc 13) Saturday and I'm *still* really sore! I did legs this morning -- I don't go so heavy with my legs, so I don't think I'll be so sore -- just tender hamstrings.

The first week of Meso2 gave me CRAZY DOMS! After the first week, the workouts were still as tough, but the DOMS subsided. I actually found the back and biceps workouts to be the "easiest" of the 3, and I enjoyed the fast pace of the tri-sets in the legs. Have fun with your meso2!
 
I did this one today too! will be back tomorrow to report the DOMS... That is if I can still move my arms! :eek:

It was very different from Meso 1 and I have to get into the new workout methods... I am definately pushing myself in the weight selections and can feel some good strength... I would NEVER have thought I could do such heavy weights (for me anyway) as I did today!

I'm freakin' a little bit about the legs workout next because Meso 1 killed me with crazy DOMS for the first few weeks of leg workouts!

I started Meso 2 yesterday and then could hardly wash my hair in the shower or get my makeup on! I'm very sore in the chest and shoulders - not as much in the triceps. (Tomorrow is legs.) I love the pace of this Meso; I like the longer rest breaks and the heavier weight.

Ahhh...at least we can all be sore together!

OMG, I'm right there with you!
My chest and triceps are on fire this morning!:eek::eek:

I felt very worked during the sets yesterday. Some of the exercises I could only finish 11 reps, but I didn't break a sweat like I did with meso one. :confused:
I thought the rest was long too, but each set was challenging. I'm going to trust Cathe because I want to gain muscle! I am adding steady state cardio on weight lifting days in meso. I'll save hiit for non lifting days.

Confession time....yesterday, I kept admiring my guns.Flexing at all angles. I was totally obnoxious:D:D
