STS makes cardio easier, too

I finished my 3 month rotation, and am coming to the end of my last cardio-only rest week, before I go back to weights. I think I'm gonna play with the Pyramids before doing a 6 month rotation.

Has anyone else noticed as you progressed thru STS your cardio workouts get easier? My leg endurance for running and plyos has certainly increased, and I feel like my cardio endurance has increased as well. Like my muscles are using the oxygen more effectively so I can go longer. It was a totally unexpected side effect. LOVE IT!!!

I tackled a god-awful hill on my run today, that normally lays me out flat halfway up. When I got to the top, I wanted to take a break, but there were cars/people around, and I didn't want to look like a weenie so I sucked it up and kept going. I couldn't believe I got to the top, AND kept going. Go, legs, go!!! Thanks Cathe and STS!

Hi Nan, I am just starting my rest week from Meso 3 but notice that my cardio endurance is a lot better. I never could run more then 1 mile but now I can keep on going. I am not really a runner but just started to do it.
