STS Lower Body w/out Question...'educated crowd' ...

I will be finishing Meso 1 this week and I wonder since the lower body workouts still 'challenge' me a bit, should I do the lower body from Meso 1 again while doing upper body, Meso 2?

Or should I move on as the program is designed? Will I have a heck of a time with the lower body in Meso 2 since Meso 1 is still kinda hard?

I can do all the moves, but talk about DOMS.... :eek:

I would trust in Cathe, and continue on with meso 2 as written, I'm sure you will do fine, just get in there and do what you can do! The whole idea is to "shock" your body into making progress, and you will just be holding yourself back if you don't try.
 
The whole point of everyone doing their 1rm is you'll be doing a weight that challenges YOUR body. You will be doing less repetitions 8-12 and heavier weight which is called hypertrophy (muscle building). We did higher reps last meso for endurance. You should be just fine. Use a weight (if you havent done the testing) that you think you can get roughly 12 reps. If you feel you can keep going with the weight you chose the first time make a note to increase your weight the next time. Hope this helps out. I think we all thought meso one was challenging. I know my husband did!!!!
 
hey ya'll, when we finish STS and then start all over again, do we have to do our 1rm again? cuz we should be stronger, right?
