Omg, duh me!
I just finished TTM, the premix No Solid Step (55 mins). I don't know what was up with me but I felt like I was a step behind in the whole workout, plus everything just wiped me out! I also think that if I skip parts of the main workout (not knowing the whole thing yet), then I am lost the whole time.
Colleen, yay for glute doms! You didn't get any elsewhere? I was sore all over from AB.
Have you ever tried ricciarelli? Sienese almond cookies? They are made with almond meal/flour so they might be right up your alley. When I was in Siena in the spring, I tried some, oblivious until we left that those originate there! I would have gorged on more had I known! (Just like pesto and focaccia in Liguria.) I want to try to make them. Seems easy enough: ricciarelli (sienese almond cookies) | story of a kitchen | story of a kitchen I've seen other recipes but this method really appeals to me.
Parla italiano?
I think I'll do 4DS KB tomorrow before I head to a Christmas luncheon with coworkers from over 20 years ago. Yikes, there'll a lot of food.
Carolyn, really? They told you not to run again? How many years have you been doing it?
Have fun shopping with your mom. You might find some gifts on your list. I have not done a thing for Xmas! Cards! Decorations! Gifts! Movies! Carols! Have I missed anything??
I was watching Rick Steves' European Christmas a couple of weeks ago on PBS and it struck me how beautiful the holiday is there. He was in Switzerland, Austria, Tuscany, Rome, etc. It seems like in Europe the religious spirit is more evident, and that's so beautiful. That's the part of Christmas that moves me. Families do the celebrating, cooking, observing together. Here I feel that it's too commercialized.
