STS BODYROCKERS MONTH OF DECEMBER

Hello. :)

Today's work out was Combat Kickstart, Ab Circuits No Equipment Abs & 85 squats (55 pulsing squats holding a 15# DB and switching stance every 5 reps).

I was back out Christmas shopping again today and I finished my tree. I posted a pic on FB! :)

Christmas shopping is 99.9% complete now so the wrapping shall begin tmrw or after my son goes to bed tonight! :D

Wiggie:: OMG I'm so glad you loved the Combat work out too! And the DOMS is crazy, right!? I usually wear weighted gloves for my kickbox/boxing work outs. I didn't for this one and thank goodness! I had to do it again today and I was STILL sore from the other day! I was seeing stars during some of the moves!:eek::D:eek::D Tmrw I get to try Plyo HiiT and I'm askeered!:eek: You know you don't have to quit STS in order to do Combat. You can use Combat as your cardio! ;)

Good morning All!!

Thursday's workout was Combat Kickstart & STS D7, I will be playing catch up on my rotation since I will be out of town starting on the 26th(my birthday). We will spend a night with my Aunt(she's having a party), then we will go to Myrtle Beach for a few days. I will be off from work from the 24th till 1/3/13!!

Wendy: So with the squat challenge, do you just do more every day, or it doesn't matter as long as you do some? You are right, I will continue with STS & use Combat for my cardio. I love all the kicks in Combat, I am really feeling in in my lower body. You have done really well with your shopping. Even though I'm finished, I still enjoy being out & about during the holidays. I usually run into people that I haven't seen all year.

Hello Ladies. :)

This morning's work out was Combat Plyo HiiT (30m), 90 squats ala' Leaner Legs (all of the first barbell squatting segment and a portion of the one legged db squat segment) and 30m of yoga/stretching (half was some of Lose Weight Feel Great and the other half was my own stretching routine).

The DOMS in my upper body has finally eased and there was no punching in today's work out so I should feel even better tmrw....BUT tmrw is another new Combat martial arts routine though so it may not last long! :eek:;)

Today I have to go to Kohls for a quick gift and that's it! Then I am DONE and can concentrate on wrapping! :D

Wiggie:: Sounds like a nice romantic getaway you have planned in Myrtle Beach ey? Cuz let's face it, what else do you do in a beach town in the WINTER!?! LOL ;););) The squat challenge I am doing has an assigned number of squats to be done each day ranging from 20 to 100. Next month I will probably do the same challenge with a different exercise! :)

Ok, well I better get my buns moving now!! BBL or tmrw!:cool:

Combat 45 Power Kata, 95 squats (20 one legged squats per side holding a 20# DB (40 total), 20 standard stance holding 15# DBs, 20 plie w/one 20# DB and 15 narrow stance holding 15# DBs.) and STS Extended Stretch...DONE!:D

Hello!

Yay for Christmas vacation! Like Wiggie, i'm taking an extended break from work...until 1/2/2013! Yahoo!!!

Today I finished up my crazy-intense work of STS with Disc 12 (legs). Yesterday I rested and Thursday I did Disc 11 (back and triceps). I've been enjoying DOMS all week, so that's exciting. ;) I'm now officially starting my first active recovery week. I'm playing the week by ear. If I have time to workout I will, if not, no worries.

Wendy: You are going Combat crazy over there, LOL! :p;) So, do you have a verdict yet on the Combat series? Good investment? Worth the money? Your tree is gorgeous! I saw it on FB. Want to come decorate mine next year? :D Let me know what "challenge" you decide to do next month. I might participate too (if you don't mind). :)

Wiggie: Enjoy your Christmas vacation!! I'm very jealous that you are going to beach. :p;) Wait, you're going Combat crazy too. What's happening around here? LOL! I need to get my head back in the game. So are you enjoying your new workouts too? Happy (early) birthday! You're turning 21 right? :D:p;)
 
Katie:: Nice vacation you have scheduled! I'd be jealous if I had a job! :p:eek: Enjoy your active recovery week! You've certainly earned it! Cathe would be proud!!!:D I am LOOOVING Combat and I've only done 3 of the work outs so far! Another new one is on tap for tmrw! Can't wait!!! I am doing the most advanced rotation that the set comes with. It's awesome so far and will be even awesom"er" (LOL) once I get the bonus dvds! :D The OFFICIAL challenge for January is abs but I am doing walking lunges. I considered doing abs with it by dropping for them in "intervals" between lunge sets but a part of me thinks that will be too much and that it's best to stick with one thing at a time. :eek: Ofcourse I don't mind if you join me, silly! I'd love it! You can also join the group on FB if you like. Up to you. :)

Today's work out will be Combat 60 and 100 squats.

I am sooo over squatting. Can't wait for December to end!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

It appears I haven't reported my work outs since Saturday so here's the rest of what I've done...

Sunday - about 45 mins of Afterburn and 100 assorted squats.
Monday - 5 mile run ala ITread Run Intervals 60 mins and 30 mins of Kundalini Body Electric Yoga.
Tuesday - 60 mins of Kundalini Yoga Flow Bootcamp.

Combat 60-Extreme Cardio Fighter -wearing weighted gloves. (YEOWCH!)

100 Squats-25 one legged per side holding a 15# db, 25 plie holding a 20# db, and 25 narrow stance holding a set of 10# db's (10 of which were triple pulse reps)!

Hi gals!! Well, I've been one lazy bum since Sunday!! Secretly I've enjoyed the time off, but I was also eager to get back to my workouts today. Because it's my rest work, I did Ellen Barrett's Yogini workout today. I enjoy that one. Perfect for an active recovery week! :) Tomorrow will be cardio, I'm thinking TTM or Crossfire.

Wendy: Excellent workouts lady! I'm glad one of us stayed true during holidays. ;) I think you've convinced me to get Combat. Any recommendations on where to buy it? I desperately need to work on my abs, so I'm all for a January ab challenge. Count me in!!

Wed: STS 10, STS D12 & HIIT 15

Katie: Thank you for the birthday wishes, & you're right, I'm only 21!! As you can see I followed suit & completed Meso 1. So I am doing my recovery week while on vacation. It was tough but I did it!

Wendy: good job on your 5 mile run!!

I am sore from y'day's work out but not nearly as bad as I thought I'd be!

Today calls for Combat Power HiiT and 50 squats plus whatever else my lil' heart desires!;)

Wiggie:: My goodness girl! You ROCKED the work outs this past week! WOW! Good for you! IDK how you can move anymore though!:p

Katie:: I got Combat from the BB site. IDK if you can get it any place else yet. I am excited to get the bonus work outs! Don't make the mistake of being cheap and not ordering the set that comes with the bonus work outs like I did coz if you like Combat you will want the extra dvds!!!!!:D Glad you will be joining me for the January challenge even if we'll be doing different things!:)

Today's workout was Cardio Supersets! Good stuff there. I love the length of that one (42 mins). Get in, work hard, get out. Love! :)

I saw XTrain is shipping. So excited!!!! I'm taking next week off from STS to try out the XTrain strength workouts. I figure they complement each other, so I'm not worried about interfering with my STS progress.

I'm on my telly so ill BBL for personals!! :)

Y'day's work out was Combat Power HiiT, 50 squats and the Stretch Max resistance band routine.

I'm sore today. I went heavier on the weights in the HiiT work out! Yeowch!:D

Heading out of here in 15 min to take DS up to MIL's for the long weekend since DH and I heading to the casinos tmrw! :D On the way home from MIL's I have an appointment. After that it's lunch, my work out and attempting to pack for our weekend away!

Hey Peeps. :)

I did Combat Kickstart 30 wearing weighted gloves, Kickmax blasts, Kickmax Leg Conditioning Drills and 55 prisoner squats wearing a weighted vest this afternoon.:D

My Ab Circuit plan is being pushed to tmrw along with the next Combat w/o on the schedule which is one of the HiiT's and some yoga before we head to AC! :)

I plan to bring Combat with me and do the next work out in the rotation in the hotel room on Sunday which will be Combat 45. Then I'm considering taking Monday and Tuesday off (we head home Tuesday)...The next work out in the rotation is UB and I can't do that in AC anyway unless I use the antiquated equipment in the fitness center there which I really have no desire to do....:rolleyes:

DH was asked to sub on a bowling league tonight so I will go with him to hang out and have a few drinks. Should be fun...

That being said, I gotta shower, get dressed and drum up some dinner as we probably have to leave here in just over an hour! :eek:

BBITAM for personals hopefully-if I have time! Heading out around 1pm for the casinos!:D

Has anyone received XTrain yet???? I've hopeful it MIGHT arrive today, but unlikely. :) Still waiting until after lunch to do my workout just in case it does show up.

I usually take Friday's off but, because I missed THREE workouts last week, I did To The Max yesterday. I love all of that workout except the compound leg segment. It's just not my fav. My shoulders were sore from earlier workouts so I used 5# for that segment (Cathe uses 8#).

Well gals I have a confession. I have been eating like crap and gaining weight. My clothes don't fit properly anymore and I can tell a big difference in my body shape. Not good. So, i'm going to survive tonight's family dinner and Monday's New Year's Eve celebrations and then i'm really buckling down. I've got to get my eating under control. Okay. Feel better now that I have confessed.

Wendy: How was bowling last night?? I love bowling. I stink at it, but always have fun. Have a fantastic time at the casinos this weekend!! Win big money for me! :p;) You've been rocking the workouts lately, so enjoy a few days off. :) Plus it will give your sore muscles time to recover.

Wiggie: Wow, you and Wendy are making me look bad. :p;) Great job finishing Meso 1 girlie!! How is your vacation? Are you home or still enjoying the ocean? Have I mentioned lately how jealous I am of your vaca? :D

Wrk out this morn was combat power hiit as per the rotation, med ball ab circuits, 60 of those balance squats from tbts lwr body and sts extended stretch. :)

Katie:: I hv gained a bit as well n am also struggling with some of my clothes so u r not alone. I too plan to buckle down come the new year!:)

Happy New Year girls if I dont get back here before I get back home.
