STS BODYROCKERS MONTH OF DECEMBER

Hi ladies!

Yesterday's workout was STS, Disc 3 (legs). To use Wendy's words, my lower body is "flamin" today (I love that phrase BTW, lol). Today is my rest day. I'm exhausted. I've been running around a lot lately and getting up earlier because of various demands on my time (I got up at 4:20 am yesterday morning to get my workout in); it's wearing me out. :eek:

Wendy: No worries on selling STS. I completely understand actually. If it's not a program that works for you and you're not going to use it, why bother keeping it around? Especially when you can use the money to buy other workout programs you are wanting to try! I can't wait to hear your reviews on all your new "toys". :p;) You've got some great workouts coming your way! Have fun at work today. Don't work to hard now. :D:p

Wiggie: Yikes! I'm so glad you are okay!!! Big time bummer about your car though. It's extremely dangerous when deer run out in the road like that. Way to rock D3 yesterday! Is your lower body sore this morning? Mine is fo sho! :eek::D I love the STS leg workouts and actually look forward to leg day during STS.
 
Hello Girlies! :)

Well, my work out is complete...30 squats with 50# (10 each of regular, wide and narrow stance) and the cardio/abs premix of S&G are done!:D

Katie:: Thanks girl! I knew you'd understand!:) Gotta admit to loving M1 leg work outs! Wish I could've just kept them and the Extended Stretch! :p Yay for flamin' legs!:D

3.5ish mile run on the tm + 35 plie squats with a 50# BB...DONE! :D

Y'day's work out was TBTS Total Body + 40 standard squats with a 50# BB. :D

YIKES! Everything hurts this moring! :eek:...I wonder why!?!?!? :p

Friday's workout was HIIT 15, Saturday's was Fire 55 & Sunday's was Fire 30 that am & More Cardio Strength that evening. Thanks guys re the deer incident, right now I'm waiting on the adjuster to make an appearance.

Katie: I really enjoyed D3, I also like the drills at the end. No, I'm not really sore, the only time I feel it is if I sit for a while. Right now is a good time for me to do STS since I really don't lose anything while I'm doing it. For the first time in my life I'm not worried about losing weight. :p

Wendy: I've thought about selling STS many times. If I do I would sell the Shock cardios with them since I seldom use them. I still might one day.
 
Wiggie:: It surprises me that you would consider selling STS. I thought you really liked it! Or is it your A.D.D. that drives this thought of selling it? ;) I appreciate alot of the Shock Cardios for their breavity as well as just plain ol' liking the work outs. There are a few I'm not a fan of which I will probably attempt to sell but I am keeping most of them. :) Nice work outs! Good luck with the insurance adjuster! :rolleyes:
 
Wendy: Thanks re the adjuster. I think it might be my A.D.D.!:D I have used STS several times, but as for the shock cardios, the times I've done them can almost be counted on one hand, especially the MMA's. I think I've done CCC & AS more than any of the other ones. Maybe I'll give them another chance, sometimes when I haven't done a dvd in a long time my opinion changes. So where do you sell your dvds? Amazon? Ebay?
 
Wiggie:: I sell on both Amazon and Ebay. I like them both. :) The Shock Cardios definitely seem to be Cathe's least popular series...
 
Morning girlies!

Saturday's workout was Disc 4 (shoulders/chest/biceps), Sunday's workout was Low Max (minus the last combo), and today's workout was Disc 5 (back and triceps). I don't know why I skipped the last Low Max combo. Okay, yes I do...I just got plain old tired of working out! :eek::rolleyes:

Wiggie: I don't lose much with STS either. That's why I like to do it in the winter. As Kiki once said, I can just cover up and train! ;) I like to use STS to build muscle (in theory), so I actually do less cardio and eat more during each STS rotation. I'm not a huge fan of Shock Cardio overall, but there are a few SC workouts I do semi-frequently (HiiT, Athletic Step, Step Moves). I'm not a fan of the MMA workouts, even though I do them occasionally. I never bought Circuit Blast or Travel Fit.

Wendy: Any news on the job front? Are you still looking? Excellent workouts this past weekend! You are doing fantastic with your squat challenge. Is that for the month of December? I find STS Total Body to be one tough workout! It kills my forearms. Okay it just about kills all my muscles...except for maybe my triceps. It's a little lacking in that department.
 
LMAO, Katie, you did it again! I didn't write "STS Total Body" I wrote "TBTS Total Body". I think you read what you want to read! LOL :p I do agree though that STS TB is a great work out. One that I will NOT be selling, btw!:) ITA as well that it doesn't have much tricep work in it but in all fairness she kills the tri's in most work outs so maybe it's a GOOD thing that she doesn't do that in STS TB!:eek: Great job on LM even if you didn't finish it. It wears me out, that's for sure so I don't blame you for cutting it a bit short! ;) Yup, still looking for a job but still no luck. *sigh* It's becoming exhausting just finding jobs worth applying to at this point!:rolleyes::(:confused::eek:
 
Ok, my 45 squats are done! Hoping for some yoga in a bit as well! I need a good lower body stretch to be ready for tmrw....50 squats and Afterburn!!!!!!:eek::eek::eek:

ETA:: Ok now my stretching is done too thanks to Yoga Relax! :)

Geez, I'm sorry Wendy!! I need to quit posting at work. :/ P.S. I've got Afterburn scheduled for tomorrow too. Joint class, woohoo!!! :)
 
Morning!

Well, Wendy kicked my butt this morning during our "virtual" Afterburn class. ;) Geez. I was struggling big time! Especially during the plank moves. My back was hurting, my wrists were hurting, my heart was pumping, etc. :eek::rolleyes: Kind of a pathetic showing on my part. Oh well! :D

Wendy: Boo on the job search! I know that's so very frustrating. :confused: What yoga workout did you do last night? I'm sure it was a good one! ;)
 
Katie:: Pathetic isn't when you do the work out and struggle with it a bit. Pathetic is not doing the work out at all!!!:eek: Like what I did! NOTHING! :eek::rolleyes::confused: It's probably for the best as I'm feeling a little TOO fried for my comfort plus, once again for like the 4th night in a row I didn't sleep well last night and today I couldn't even manage a successful nap!!! :( I still feel like a loser though for "wimping" out on you. I will do it though. Just pushing it back (along with my squats) to tmrw instead of today! And yes, you really do need to stop posting from work b/c you asked me what yoga work out I did and I had already posted which one but you obviously weren't paying attention!!! :p:D

Thought I'd pop in before my work out....No work out for me y'day and I slept like a baby last night! Coincidence? I think not! :rolleyes:

Today's work out will be AB and my 50 squats that will NOT be done using a 50# BB, TYVM!:p

That said, I'm off and squatting!:cool:
 
Good morning!!

Monday's workout was MMA Boxing & Tuesday's was STS M1 D4. The boot camp & tricep pushups were always really hard for me but this time they were doable. Not easy, but easier than they have been in the past.I will probably do D6 tonight. MMA was okay, I did all the punches holding 2 pound weights.

Wendy: So glad you slept well!! So is the challenge to do 50 squats a day? Have you received LM Combat yet?

Katie: I forgot about the HIIT dvd, I do like that one. I agree with what Wendy said re "pathetic"!! :D

Hi gals,

I was supposed to do Disc 6 today (legs), but my bum is sore from yesterday's Afterburn fun fest. So, instead of Disc 6, I decided to do Low Impact Challenge + abs (i've been doing all low impact cardio workouts this week along with STS). Overall I was happy with my workout.

Wiggie: Way to rock your STS workout. I HATE bootcamp and tricep pushups. :confused::rolleyes: I can do them, but I can't go as deep on the push-up as I usually do. :eek: I find MMA Boxing to just be "okay" too. I know a lot of people just love it.

Wendy: Yay for good sleep! I hope today's better for you than yesterday. Now rock those squats young lady. :p;)
 
Hello. I'm back.

My work out is done!:D

~AB warm up~
~One legged squatting sequence from Butts n Guts that uses hi-step with 3 risers per side. I had to add 2 reps per leg on to make it 50 reps each and held my 8# UGI ball for resistance.~
~AB work out~
~40 mins of Kundalini Bliss Hips Yoga.~

Wiggie:: Great work outs! I love the MMA: Boxing work out! The only thing I don't like about it is the one lower body drill that makes me pee myself a little. :eek: Sorry if that's TMI!:p Tricep push ups are no easy feat! Congrats on conquering them!!! That's awesome! Seems like you are noticing lots of improvements in this round of STS! You must be doing something right, girl!;):)

Katie:: Good job this moring with your work out! Will you be doing the leg work out tmrw instead now? So did I adequately rock the squats for you this morning or what? ;):p

Wednesday's workout was 25 minutes of Fire 45 for my warmup then M1 D6 Legs. I really am enjoying the leg discs, I love diong leg presses, I do them with 6 risers instead of 4. I'm used to a higher step thanks to The Firm.

Wendy: Lol re the pee thing!! :p Which drill is that? Great workout you put together!! You've always been good at that. My plan today is a short cardio & then some yoga. I got an email saying that LM Combat has shipped!!

Katie: Good job on Low Impact Challenge!! I haven't done that one in a while. I'm so glad I joined you for STS. :)
 
Good Morning. :)

The rotation calls for Low Impact Challenge today but IDK if I'm in the mood to think that hard :p so I may opt for Cardio Super Sets or a run instead!...and let's not forget about the 55 squats I need to do! *gasp*

I plan to go Christmas shopping today....FINALLY! :rolleyes: Wish me luck! I'm sure I will need it!:eek:

I slept pretty good last night. I was up for a very short time and just as I started to get worried I think I fell asleep. :p

My thighs and glutes definitely know that I worked out y'day! OH MY! :eek::D

Wiggie:: 6 risers for leg presses!? OH MY!!!:eek: LOL How tall are you??..Or are you just nuts? ;):p So since you asked :p...the drill that makes me *ahem* "leak" is the one where you switch your stance from left to right really quickly. IDK how Cathe refers to it...do you know what I'm talking about?? :confused: Glad Combat is on it's way to you! I've been checking the shipping status of my set every day since I got the shipping notification!:D

Ok, off I go to decide on my work out! BBL!:cool:
