STS BODYROCKERS MONTH OF DECEMBER

Morning!

Today's workout was Disc 6 (legs) - the one I skipped yesterday. The leg discs are by far my favorite. I was exhausted by the end, but a good exhausted. ;) I've got fingers crossed old man DOMS pays me a visit. :D

Wiggie: Nice work with Disc 6! I'm really enjoying the leg work too. It's fabulous that we are doing STS together. It just makes it that much more enjoyable. Wow, SIX RISERS?!?!? Holy crap! I've got short little legs and can barely handle four. Well, that's not true. I can handle five, but if Cathe only uses four than that's good enough for me, LOL! :D:p;) You go girl!

Wendy: So what workout did you decide on? My guess is Cardio Super Sets. ;) I love that "yep, I worked out hard" feeling I get when i'm sore the next day. Afterburn is killer on the legs. Plus you did all those lunges. Crazy girl! :p;) Good luck Christmas shopping! I've got one last package arriving on Saturday and then, except for DH's grandmother, I think i'm FINALLY done!

Hello.

Surprise surprise do I have a shocker for you ladies! I actually did Low Impact Challenge after all this morning! ALL of it too! Yes, even that last crazy combo AND the challenge! WHOA! :p Then I did my 55 squats ala' Legs n Glutes hover squat segment. I used my UGI for resistance and added singles on to the end of the set until I hit 55 reps! :)

Now it's time to shower, eat and head out shopping!

BBL for personals!

Good morning!!

Thursday's workout was MMA Fusion chased by seg 5 of Namaste Yoga. I really enjoyed both workouts. I love getting cardio & core at the same time. I made a mistake yesterday, that was 5 risers not 6. When I used the Firm they always used a 14 inch step for leg presses. They were my first workout series. I bought the first 4, when they started doing infomercials. I loved the fact that they always included equipment.

Wendy: I know the drill you are speaking of. I do that one without a marker, it just feels better. I finished my christmas shopping a while ago. I actually started during the after christmas sales last year. Every time I catch a good sale I buy a gift for someone, I even have some extra things I picked up from clearance sales just in case. & for the record, I was shocked that you picked LIC!! :p

Katie: I know what you mean about the leg discs. I was really tired, I almost didn't do the drills at the end, but I thought about what Shaun T always says, "the work doesn't start until you get tired!" I plan to go to the gym & run tonight.

Hello. :)

Fly by for now....personals tmrw! I promise!;)

Today was Cardio Super Sets followed by 60 plie squats with a 20# DB.

Tmrw will be TBTS U/B which is actually what I was supposed to do today but rebelled against! :p

Have a great night!
BBITAM!

Hello!

My work out is FINALLY done!

TBTS Total Body Express plus my 65 squats which were one legged balancing squats with 5# DB's which she does in TBTS LB so I had to do 65 on each leg, not just 65 total. :p Things that make ya go ! LOL

Off to the shower and to get dinner under way!

Have a great evening!

Hello ladies!

I hope you're having a great weekend. I took yesterday off from working out. Today I did Disc 7 (shoulders/biceps/chest). I did 90% of the pushups on my toes. So happy!!! I swear this disc is the worse push-up wise. I was supposed to do abs, but ran out of time. I've spent the afternoon baking cookies with my nephew and i'm going to see the Hobbit tonight with a good friend of mine. So excited!!!

Wendy: Excellent workout! TBT is a personal fav. I think it's different than most of Cathe's other strength workouts. Yowza on the squats!! Geez, you're going to have buns of steel by the time December is over. ;):p I'm super impressed and oh so proud that you did Low Impact Challenge, lol!! :D How did Christmas shopping go the other day?

Wiggie: Love the Shaun T quote! I gotta remember that one. WTG kicking some MMA Fusion butt. I love getting cardio and core done at the same time too. :) I can't wait until my first active recovery week so I have time to do some Namaste Yoga. Love those routines!!

Heeeey~:)

Sommebody finally showed up around here! I was beginning to give up hope!:p LOL

Katie:: Great work out! Oooooh jealous that you are going to see the Hobbit! I can't wait to go! Let me know how it is! Baking is something I try to stay away from coz I like to eat the crap waaaay too much! Christmas shopping was a huge success! I am almost done! A few more things next week and I'll be good to go! Woot woot!:D I have been missing my yoga too. I need to get back into doing it more often while I have the time!

Up early this morning for a 9am CPR class that's almost an hour away  and then a 40th B'day party that is 45 minutes away in the OTHER direction!

No work out planned as IDT I'll have the time for one.

Most likely won't be back until morning so have a good one!

Good morning!!

I had a busy weekend, Saturday we had to pick up the food, cake & some last minute items for our annual Senior Banquet at the church. It was very nice, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.

Friday's workout was a run at the gym, & upper body work on various weight machines & MMA Kickbox when I got home. My triceps are still a little sore. Saturday's was Double cardio from 4 Day Split & Sunday's was Kenpo X.

Wendy: So glad your Christmas shopping trip was successful!! How was class & the party? I will have to give TBTS another chance since you & Katie like it so much. I wasn't really into it when I've tried it before.

Katie: I think you are correct re Kris. How were the cookies? How was the Hobbit?

Hello Ladies. :)

Yesterday was a complete rest day as suspected. The CPR cert went ok but I was 15 mins late becoz I had a heck of a time finding the place!!! Luckily I was still allowed to attend and not forced to reschedule. Phew! We also got out 90 minutes early...most likely because the 4 hour time frame allowed for the class is probably based on the maximum size class allowed and we only had a handful of people. I should get my card in the mail by the end of the year. :) The 40th B'day party was fun. Made for a long day though...out of the house at 8am and not home until after 7 last night. I was TIRED!

Today's work out was ITread 30 mins run intervals (a sub for the cardio in the rotation today-wasn't feeling S&G cardio for the umpteenth time  and not quite ready to do Low Impact Challenge again so soon!:p), 70 squats (35 uneven per side holding a 15# DB) and STS Extended Stretch since no one is buying it. I was able to sell the squat rack routine but that's it so far. I've sold alot of other stuff though so I guess I can't complain TOO much! It's enabled me to buy BOTH Asylums AND Combat so yay me!:D X-Train is a Christmas gift from DH!;)

Well, I have a desperately needed nail appointment at 1:30 today so I don't have time for personals right now but I'll BBL for them!

Good morning!!

I got home late yesterday due to having a Dr.’s appt, so my workout Monday was an hour long ride on the bike while I watched television. I was 20lbs lighter than the last time I was there, so my Dr. was asking me how I did it. She knows I exercise, so she always asks questions about that. Being a Dr., I’m sure she knows more than I do about losing weight, but like a lot of people just doesn’t do it.:p

Katie: Great job on the pushups!! Those are never easy,

Wendy: you should have been tired after the day you had!! So glad they let you in class. That would have been a shame to travel so far & not get in. So you had fun at the party, you know dancing is a workout in itself. In fact, I’ve been looking for a good dance dvd, do you know of any? I think I’ll post that question in open discussion. I received my LM Combat today, I'm previewing them now!!

Have a wonderful day!!

Good Morning.:)

Today's work out as COMBAT Kickstart (30m), 75 squats with 50# and Kundalini Yoga (45). Good stuff! I really like COMBAT based on this first work out I did! :D

Wiggie:: Unfortunately it wasn't a music n dancing party. It was a hang out and bs party but that's ok. We had fun just the same. :) People that like to dance say Zumba is fun. I'm coordinated enough for that kind of work out. I've tried a Jennifer Galardi (sp?) dance work out dvd in the past and I was awful at it! Then some years later I tried a cardio dance class at the gym and was pretty much awful at that too!:eek:

Ok, I'd better go! Lots to do today!!!!!

BBL!

I just wanted to pop in and say hello! I've been so stressed and busy lately I've been slacking on my checking in. Sorry gals!! I have been (kinda) sticking with my workouts. I'll stop back in the morning (PROMISE) and touch base. :)

Good Morning. :)

Today's work out will be COMBAT Power HiiT, 80 squats and some stretching/yoga...when I get to it. My priority today has to be Christmas shopping!!! If I work out first I'll never get out of the house until almost noon. I know it!

Lemme tell ya, I am soooo sore from COMBAT Kickstart! No weighted gloves, a 30 min work out and my upper body is flamin'! (that was for you, Katie!;)) The DOMS started to come on last night! I was shocked and thrilled! LOL

Ok, that's all for now but more to come later I am sure.

Hi ladies!

Here I am, as promised! :D:p;) Sorry i've been so sporadic with my check-ins lately. I've been soooo busy at work. I've been working on a huge medical malpractice case and it has been driving me nutso. Thank goodness I should be finished with it today (fingers crossed).

I've decided to focus on nothing but STS this week and accelerate the program a bit. My eating has been beyond horrid, so I figured if I'm eating all those extra calories anyway I might as well use them to build muscle. Plus i'm worried Christmas festivities are going to interfere with my workouts next week. Here are my workouts so far.

Saturday - Disc 7 (chest/shoulders/biceps)
Sunday - rest (again)
Monday - Disc 8 (back/tris) + abs
Tuesday - Disc 9 (legs) + abs
Today - Disc 10 (chest/shoulder/biceps)

Tomorrow i'll do Disc 11 and i'll finish Meso 1 on Saturday with Disc 12. That way I can start into my first recovery week, which I desperately need, and if I miss a few workouts because of Christmas it's no big deal.

Wendy: Yay for awesome new workouts! I can't wait to hear more of your thoughts on the program. If you deem it worthy, I will definitely buy it ASAP! I love kickboxing-type programs. A 30 minute, no weighted glove workout gave you DOMS? EEK! Now i'm really excited! ;) I *think* DH got me the pink boxing gloves Cathe uses in Hard Strikes. :D Have fun Christmas shopping. I think i'm going to sneak away from work for a few hours this afternoon so I can finish my shopping up too.

Wiggie: Hope your doctor's appointment went well. And HIGH FIVES on the weight loss! I think it's great that a doctor is asking you about losing weight. :p;) Nice job keeping up with your workouts during this busy holiday season. I know it's a struggle (for me at least, lol). The Hobbit was AMAZING!! I adore the Lord of the Rings movies, and the Hobbit had a similar feel. I've heard the Hobbit book, and the movie differed slightly, but in all good ways. :)

Hello. :)

This morning was Christmas and ornament shopping-a success on both counts!!!

The ornaments I picked are all silver, light purple, and light blue. Some are shiny, some are a matte finish and some are sparkley. I have balls, icecicles and a few other shapes. I also bought a silver bow tree topper and silver bead garland. Should look really pretty when it's all decorated! I'm so excited to FINALLY have a NICE tree!!!!:D

This afternoon was my work out:
Combat Power HiiT (25-30m), 80 wall squats with stability ball (20 reps each with a set of 10, 12, 15 and 17.5# DB's) and last but not least...Yoga Max (30m). :D

Katie:: Wow, that's a solid week of lifting you have planned there! I'm in pain just thinking about it! Today's combat work out was another goody. It's a different kind of HiiT for sure as atleast half of it used weights! Awesome. It seemed to start out "easy" but I was wiped out by the time it was over! LOVED IT! :D OMG we need to see a pic of you sporting those pink boxing gloves if you do infact get them! :)

Wiggie:: I totally flaked out and forgot to congratulate you on the 20# loss between dr visits. That had to feel great! :D Especially when the doc asked you how you did it! ;)

BBL or tmrw!

Good Morning. :)

S.H.*.T.! :D

The upper body DOMS just doesn't quit! I'm sooo sore still-again!!

Today's work out is Combat Kickstart again. Nothing else is called for but I may add on some yoga/stretching anyway. ;)

So my tree looks awesome! I'm soooo happy! I just have to go back to the store today to p/u another strand or two of beads to finish it off! :D

Gotta do the last bit of Christmas shopping while I'm out as well...something for my FIL and his S/O, a gift card for my neices and nephews to purchase a group gift that they want and something else for my DH (the hardest part!). If I have time left before I have to p/u DS I will probably start wrapping too....

BBL!

Good morning Ladies!!

Tuesday I didn’t workout due to working a basketball game. Wednesday’s workout was Combat Kickstart which was AWSOME!! I was expecting my arms to fail because there were so many punches, but they didn’t. though today I am feeling it in my shoulders. I usually hold a small 2lb weight for boxing workouts, but something told me to hold off on that for this one. :p

Katie: Your STS rotation looks exhausting!! I need to do that as I have sort of wandered away from the plan(A.D.D. :p) Thanks re the Dr, you guys already knew about my weight loss, it was new to her. & you’re right it is a struggle to stay on track during the holidays with so much going on. That said, we are giving it our best shot!! As for the pink gloves, I bought some after I got the MMA Boxing dvd & love them.

Wendy: No worries re the Dr., you’ve given me my congrats throughout the process, you guys motivate me more than you’ll ever know. Your Christmas tree sounds beautiful, I like all the colors you picked. I will be giving my nephews gift cards or cash, it’s much easier than trying to guess what they like. I’ve finished shopping but have not wrapped a thing!! I geuss I’ll do that this weekend.

Happy Holidays!!
