STS BodyRockers - August 2012

Hi gals.

Today's workout was To The Max. Loved it! I had to add in an extra 30 second break between the HiiT segment and the compound leg segment. :eek: I just couldn't catch my breath! I think TTM might break into my top 10 list. I'll have to do it a few more times before I make a decision. ;)

Wendy: LOL @ your comment re: not telling DH. I'd never rat on you like that. :p;) I've already decided i'm going to (finally) buy a barbell (the Troy Lite bar). I love using the barbell at the gym. I find I can go heavier with it, which is nice. :D Whew, I hope you had a nice glass of wine last night after your job search headaches. Kick back this weekend, forget the job search for a few days, and have a fantastic time!!

Kris: Nice job with Pure Strength!! Wow, 40 minutes and you hit three body parts, very nice! :) I'm checking daily now to see if PS is listed as the deal of the day! I do love lifting heavy. Well, heavy for me. What's heavy for me is light for most people, LOL! I'm still kind of a wimp, but i'm getting there. ;)

Tuesday"s workout was a 20 minute bike ride(still wasn't feeling 100%) & Wednesday's workout was Fat Free Yoga.

Wendy, sorry your job prospects didn't work out.:( I feel the same way about sales, Just not for me. I'm sure you'll find the perfect position soon. Have a great time in Atlantic City!!

Kris, great job sticking with PS, I like that they are short but intense!! I never got around to reading S.A.S.S., Ill start it this weekend.

Katie, TTM is a torcher!!

Hello. :)

Here for a quick check in while our dinner cooks. I scheduled a last minute mani/pedi for 6:45 tonight so it's eat n fly for me! I'm hoping dinner will be ready at 6. Fingers crossed!

This morning's work out was the shoulder work from the BB Timesaver routines (20 minutes) plus 40 minutes of yoga. I did 20 minutes from Bliss Hips (hip opening) and 20 minutes from Dance the Chakras (dance segments). All totalled it was an hour work out so it was perfect!:)

Tomorrow I am hoping for a circuit before we hit the road. Not sure what time we are leaving yet...

Katie:: TTM is TOUGH! Kudos to you! The barbell is definitely a helpful addition. It can be more time consuming to change weight loads as opposed to just picking up a different set of dumbells but the barbell definitely allows you to lift heavier and form-wise, atleast for me-for some exercises, it makes it more comfortable.

Wiggie:: Wow you finally did yoga!!! Great job!!! WOOT!:D:p
 
Happy Thursday ladies,

Today was Hiit Pyramid for me, love that one, short and sweaty :) I also added a few jogging intervals into my morning walk... it was funny, when I started to jog, my dog kind of looked back behind us to see what we were running from... :eek::confused:

Hi Wiggie - sorry you're not back to 100% yet, hope you feel completely better soon! Great job getting in your workouts still!

Hi Wendy - Hope the mani/pedi was very relaxing - that sounds wonderful. Love the mish mosh you did today! Have a fantastic time in Atlantic City this weekend! I know you'll get the right job offer soon, I know that can be frustrating. It'll happen soon, I know it.

Hi Katie - I have the Troy Lite BB too :) Great job with TTM, I have only done that one once...:eek: I thought it was very tough!

Mostly packed and my work out is done! I chose Circuit Max this morning. An oldie but a goodie! :D

I love love LOVE my nails! She put such a pretty design on them in pink, purple, silver and white!

Kris:: Oooh I find HiiT Pyramid to be super tough! Probably harder then 40/20 even! Great job on that! :)

Ok, I'm off to finish getting ready...We are leaving here around noon!
