Great thread! Hello
After giving 100%, your muscle NEED a break to repair and rejuvenate for the next stress coming from RwH. It is a mini mesocycle 2.
As to the second question, here is my 2 cents. No I have not combined STS and Ripped with Hiit. You have just made me
think about it and here is my opinion. You need to be aware that both series require a structure as far as lifting is concerned.
The element to take into account is the split is not the same. You work shoulders twice for RwH which is not the case
for STS but trust me the latter is already demanding enough on your shoulders. By no mean I am implying you wouldn't
have the ability. It all depend on what you are striving for --- Goal
- STS split are: #1 chest, shoulders and triceps #2 Back and Biceps. #3 legs.
- RwH split are:#1chest,shoulders and triceps #2 Back, Biceps and shoulders #3 legs.
You can follow each program as designed applying an overloading principle to gain strength. Some have disregarded the structure
and followed the motion and claimed it worked for them. Good for them
It is entirely up to you to follow the
structure or not. That said your goal determine the routine/structure
chosen. ATB
