Hi,
I have heard over and over again that women sometimes have the hardest time training the triceps muscles. I have the opposite problem. When I first started training, my biceps muscles were stronger than my triceps, though neither of them would win a contest. However, I found that my triceps responded much more quickly as I started to train and have continued to respond as I've increased the resistance and changed the exercises. My biceps seem to be stuck. I have been able to develop them to point but I still need lighter resistance than with triceps. I have tried varying the biceps exercises, set, reps - i.e. heavy w/fewer reps v. lighter w/more reps. I can't seem to get past where I am now, and I've been here for a while. Maybe I need a new routine or maybe biceps are just where I happen to be weakest. Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Lois
