Strength workouts

I am looking for strength based weight workouts vs. endurance workouts. What is the difference between Pure Strength and MIS? It sounds pretty similar. What would be the best to focus on purely strength since I already have many of Cathe's endurance workouts. Thanks for everyone's suggestions. :)

My favorite of all of Cathe's strength workouts is the Slow and Heavy series. However, that might not be the best one to start out with when building strength. MIS works each muscle group of the upperbody in about 6 or 7 min, whereas the Pure Strength series works each for 10-12 min. MIS is almost like an endurance workout in that it moves fairly quickly, however, Cathe uses a 35# barbell for each body part, as opposed to using lighter weight for some, like she does in Power Hour. I really like Pure Strength series and found that it built a great foundation of strength before moving onto the Slow and Heavy tapes. And I LOVE Pure Strength's legs workout. That is my favorite Cathe leg workout of all time.

The SH series is my favorite, too. I see great results with it. However, I like to use PUB and PLB for strength workouts, too. I do pyramid up only, working to as heavy as possible on the third set. Doing the full pyramid feels more like endurance to me.

I also 2nd the PUB/PLB. It is one of my favorite. I sometimes do the up only premix but mostly do the whole video because I have time on my side now that the kids are in school. I do miss them already and it's only been 2 days!

The Pyramids are really good and time efficient. My arms have toned up well with this series and I like that the leg routine has no low ends and has a solid floor section.
The PS series is a good one too. But older and slower than the Pyramids. 3 day split. Pretty decent logical workout.
