Strength in Numbers

Julie Great work on your two lower body workouts, your mobility work and your upper body workout. Fingers crossed that Gunner doesn't have anything else going on.

Saturday was dragon boat practice and the water was nice and calm. That was our last practice for the season. This coming week we are travelling to a two day regatta and then the next week we are travelling again to another regatta. Then the week after that I am in a local regatta which is also the last one of the season. Sunday I met up with some friends for brunch and then had a lazy day. Monday I got some cleaning done and this morning I did LM&R Total Body and then finished up with the cleaning. In the afternoon I went out for a walk since it was nice out.

Have a great day.

Cheryl Great job on dragon boat practice with nice calm water! Wow that is a lot of regattas coming up. Good luck on all of them. Great job on LM&R TB, cleaning, and your walk!

This morning was my upper body weights. I have so much going on right now. It is one of those sometimes I stop in my tracks because I am feeling overwhelmed but then I remember I have to keep going to get through all of it.

Have a great day!

This morning was my sleep in day. Tomorrow I am volunteering at a Habitat for Humanity build. It is supposed to be nice weather but I am nervous. I am not very handy so I don't know how I will be very helpful. Maybe I will be able to paint, that I can do.

Have a great weekend!

Julie Good job on your upper body weights. I understand that feeling of being overwhelmed. I sometimes need to take a step back before I move forwards again. I hope things calm down for you soon. That would be fun to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. I am sure they will be able to find something that you could help them with.

The day got away from me yesterday and I forgot to post. In the morning I met up with a friend for a walk and then in the afternoon I went and got groceries. This morning I did STS2 Chair Yoga and then started preparing food for both me and DH for the weekend. I have everything now packed and I am hoping that I haven't forgotten anything. It looks like the weather will be nice for the weekend so that is good.

Have a great weekend.

Cheryl No worries on not posting. Great job on your walk and STS2 CY! Hope you had a fantastic weekend enjoying the beautiful weather.

Friday I did my lower body weights before going to the Habitat build. Since I was up at 3 to do it, I didn't go super heavy, I just wanted to get the movements in. The build wasn't too bad. I mainly carried stuff and handed people on the scaffolding stuff. I did get to use the power saw and still have all 10 fingers. Saturday was my mobility day and then DH and I tried to relax on the deck but the harvest bugs are out so I think our time out there is almost over for the year. Sunday was my upper body weights and this morning I slept in.

Have a great day!

Hi ladies. I’m back again and hopefully will be home for awhile now. The week was really fun, but I think all of the walking in Spain wore me down. We didn’t do any really long hikes, but they felt hard. My achilles was also bothering me and is swollen, so I am going to be resting it for awhile.

Cheryl I hope that your regatta went well over the weekend. You sure have a lot of the coning up!

Julie Great job on your lower body weights and the habitat build. I did that once and felt the same way as you about not being very handy. They seem to be good at giving out assignments though. I’m glad you still have all of your fingers! Great job on your mobility and upper body weights. Did you get any news about Gunner’s urine test?

This morning I did Strong and Sweaty Total Body Giant sets. I’m not going to be doing any cardio for a bit to give my achilles a chance to settle down. That will be tough since cardio is my favorite, but maybe we’ll get out for some bike rides. Now I have to get unpacked and get some laundry and grocery shopping done. Have a great day!

Julie Good job on your lower body workout, your mobility work and your upper body workout. Glad that you still have all of your fingers. I am sure they have lots of people who want to help but aren't very handy. That is too bad about the harvest bugs being so bad you can't sit outside. Hopefully they will die down a bit so you can still get in some deck time before it gets too cold out.

Pam I am glad that you had fun. I am sure with all of the walking you did between Spain and Oregon tired you out. Great job on S&S TBGS.

The regatta was fun though we didn't place. Saturday was a really nice day and later that night I went over to my Aunt and Uncle's for dinner as they live where the regatta was being held. My aunt is a great cook and dinner was delicious. Sunday was cloudy and we got our first race in but after that the wind kicked up and it rained really hard. It was so windy that boats lost their steer person and ended up going off course. They called the race as it was getting a little bit dangerous on the water so none of us got our last race in for the day. Calling it early got us on the road sooner for the 4 hour drive back home. This morning I did LM&R Pilates Fusion. Then I got some of my stuff put away but not too far since I will be going away again on Friday.

Have a great day.

Cheryl Wow, that sounds like a crazy race on Sunday. I’m glad you have a good day for the races on Saturday. I’m sure it was nice getting on the road a bit earlier on Sunday, although hopefully you weren’t driving 4 hours in the rain. Great job on LM&R Pilates, that was my workout this morning.

This morning I did LM&R Pilates Fusion and the Foam Roller Bonus. I’m getting my first fosters from the SPCA this afternoon, a mama cat with 4 kittens. They are already 6 weeks old, so I expect that I won’t have them long. I’m looking forward to having some babies again. Have a great day!

Pam Welcome back! I hope your Achilles starts to feel better, that is smart to lay off the cardio till it is better. Biking shouldn't be too hard on it but any Cathe cardio would be too jumpy for it. Great job on S&S TBGS and LM&R PF + FR bonus! Enjoy the kitties!

Cheryl Glad you had fun at the regatta even without placing. Oh wow the 2nd day sounded crazy. I am glad they called as the weather didn't sound very safe. Great job on LM&R PF!

This morning was my lower body weights. I was feeling pretty good until I gave myself a mini heart attack during my warm up. I wear knee sleeves just to keep my joints warm and on one of them the stitching was coming undone and was all tangled up. Well it was hanging there and I thought it was a spider and freaked out. Anyway after surviving that, my workout went pretty well. We did get Gunner's urine results back and he did have some bacteria in it, so they put him on 5 days of antibiotics and then we have to bring in a sample Saturday for them to recheck.

Have a great day!

Pam Good job on LM&R Pilates. Enjoy your fosters even if it is only for a couple of weeks.

Julie Good work on your lower body weights. I would have had a mini heart attack too. Glad to hear that it was the stitching, Hopefully the antibiotics help Gunner and everything is fine with the recheck.

This morning was LM&R2 Upper Body. Then I went and got groceries. Now we have some errands to do this afternoon.

Have a great day.
