I was reading the post about gaining weight on STS and have a question. In SNM's answer they said a man would have a hard time gaining 4 pounds of muscle in a year. If that's the case is it really possible to have real strength gains with STS over a 3 month period? Sure, by the end of Meso 3 I was lifting heavier than I ever did but was that because of strength gains or just because I was finally pushing myself harder? I wonder if redoing the 1RMs is necessary because of this. Do you have to have muscle gain to gain strength?
