Strapless bra?

I actually asked this question in the middle of another thread, but figure it will get lost there.

Does anyone who wears a size c-cup or higher bra have a suggestion for a good strapless bra? I got this sun dress that I will be wearing to my niece's wedding and the straps are set narrower than where my bra straps lay on my shoulders. I can't go braless and I've never been able to find a strapless that works.

My DD wears a D cup and she just found the "perfect" bra. Victoria Secrets Angel bra. She will never wear anything else. She bought a strapless bra from Victoria Secrets that works great for her. It doesn't say "Angel" on it so here is the numbers that are on the tag...

I don't know what number would be style, etc. so I just gave you all the numbers that are on there. She has bought from the store and from the website.

Would a bra with a racer back that clasps in the front work? I have one of those and the straps are narrower on it. I can't wear it with shirts that have a wide neck.

I have been wearing a "tube" type of bra for strapless tops and it has shirring in the front to hold it up plus doesnt leave any lines. I have never found a regular strapless bra to work for me either

Check out this one! It comes with CLEAR straps! Hmmm...I might try that one. It's a little more expensive though.

Donna, the first one actually looks like DD's but the #s aren't the same. I know that hers came with clear straps. The second one doesn't look like hers. She bought her from the store in the mall. Sometimes what they have through the catalog/website and store is different. The Body By Victoria is the closet match. If you have a store near you, take those #'s with you and check out their strapless bras in their different lines. DD thought it was an Angel since that is what she buys in regular bras but this one doesn't have Angel on the tag.

strapless ones never stay up onme, but i LOVE teh one by VS that has the clear straps. i have it in every color they have cause they are great!

Depending on your band size, I actually went to Lane Byrant for mine. And got the smallest they made which was a 38DD! It also comes with invisible straps and regular straps and is also strapless. It was the only one that I found that stayed up and was comfortable. I wore a dress that required a strapless bra all evening in Las Vegas last year and it worked great. It has the gel around the edges to help it stay up. I am a 38 DD now and it still fits fine. When I was a 36 DD I just pulled the hooks to the last hook and it still stayed up. There is no brand name just go in and ask for a strapless bra, came in beige and black.

Donna I was just going to suggest the VS Very Sexy Plunge strapless.....I'm a C cup as well and I am planning on buying every single color because a good friend of mine, who is a D cup, looked great in the top she was wearing and she told me it doesn't do the annoying downward spiral that happens to me whenever I wear one...it actually stays in place and is very comfortable.....well that's all I needed to hear
