Stomach Bug Tummy Soother - WRITE THIS DOWN

I promised on another thread that I would post this:

If you're feeling nauseous, brew yourself a nice cup of peppermint tea. It doesn't have to be very strong (I only steep mine for 10 seconds or so -- I get 2-3 cups out of every teabag). Add just a little ground ginger (or fresh ginger for those who so desire), and sweeten with sugar or honey (NO ARTIFICIAL SWEETENERS!!!!)

You will be amazed at how well this alleviates nausea and settles an upset stomach!

Thanks~I will definitely print this out for future use. Wondering if it helps for pregnancy nausea too? (NOT ME!!! Just in case my daughter decides to have more children.) Thanks again.

Perfect timing. I was sitting in front of the computer with a cup of peppermint tea for just this reason. I am headed to add the ginger. Our family has been hit by a viscious stomach bug. It takes days for the stomach to settle down afterwards.

Thanks for posting!

This recipe works well on morning sickness, too. Any time your tummy is upset, this will work wonders.

Plus, it doesn't take much ginger...so don't add very much.
