step/riser/high step compatibility

I have the black and gray step and the matching high step. I've seen in some people's photos here that they have stacks of risers in their closets, the risers are all different colors. I'm pretty sure they're all interchangeable so long as you get them from the Step company.
I personally would not have been able to work out on them if they didn't match!! LOL, so anal...

I bought mine at a local fitness store called Busy Body. It is working great and I'm enjoying the fact that I am no longer cramped onto a short step.

I'm getting confused now. 
Are you all saying that ALL the step risers are the same?
Or that ONLY the Original Step (longer one) and the High Step are the same (riser dimensions)?
I ask because I have the shorter Step (Studio Step). I actually have 2! So, I have 8 risers. I wanted to buy just the Original Step platform, and save some money. But fwonline.com customer service, told me that they were NOT the same in size. ? Apparently the Studio Step is 14.25" w, but the Original Step is 15" w.
Does anyone have BOTH the Original Step and the Studio Step? Are your risers different in size?
(btw, I just turned my Studio Step vertically, and used all 4 pair of risers to make it like the High Step (for workout in Leaner Legs). It worked great!
