Hi Carol! I couldn't help but have a big huge smile while reading your enthusiastic post. You continue to inspire me with your accomplishments. You go girl!

Woo Hoo Carol - congratulations!!!! You have definately given me some great news. I also have arthritic knees and did have surgery. Now after reading this post and talking to so many people with the same condition I can't wait until I can start doing step and all of my new body blast workouts!!

I'm so very happy for your accomplishments - keep it up - you go girl!!!

Hi Susan!!!

Take care,

Iris

YAY CAROL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(I just had to join in that whole exclamation point thing, girlfriend!)

I LOVED your post and found myself finishing it with a huge silly grin on my face. If I didn't love ya so much I'd have to hate ya for having so much fun with a tape that I DON'T HAVE YET!!!! ;-) But since it's you, all's forgiven and I am delighted that SJ&P was so successful for you on so many levels!

Can't wait for tomorrow's post -- what's on tap for November 7, honey??? :)

You go girl!! When I had those x-rays taken, the smart-a*s orthopedic resident told me I'd be lucky to be walking by the time I was 60. I would love to have someone videotape me while doing a Cathe workout on my 60th birthday, and send it to him!! LOL!! Don't ever let anyone tell you that you CAN'T just because of those knees! If your doctor gives you the okay to workout after you've recovered from your surgery, you go for it!! I modified a lower body older Firm workout now called Better Body and Buns. It had leg presses in it, and when I first started doing it after I fell, I used a 10 inch step for my left leg, to take the pressure off my knee. I used the 14 inch one for my right leg. I also couldn't do a full lunge with my left leg, so I went down as far as I could. It took about three months, but eventually I worked back up to the 14 inch step for leg presses, and a full lunge on that leg as well. Now, I have complete range of motion back in the knee, and it's as if nothing ever happened. I thank God every day it wasn't my ACL I tore. Best of luck to you!! You CAN do it!!

RE: YAY CAROL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know it must be torture for people waiting for those DVD's to read about these workouts!! Thanks for not hating me!! :D I've devised my own rotation using the Body Blast series and the Intensity series, because I am DETERMINED to lose this belly fat that thinks it can live on my body, and a few people on here said the Intensity series really helped their core muscles. So tomorrow is Pyramid Lower Body. I work Friday and Saturday nights, and I haven't yet decided what I'll do Sunday. I wasn't going to workout, but I might do one of CTX series with Nik. I emailed you about this earlier, but we bought our dresses today for her big night out next month (she's turning 13!!), and she was admiring my arms in the dressing room when I tried on my dress! She asked me to help her workout! I just about cried, right there in the store - LOL!! So ... I might do Kickbox with her on Sunday, even though I'll be dead tired from two 12 hour nights in a row. My little sweetheart is worth it!

This is the rest of my rotation I've set up for myself. Actually, I would love it if you all would take a look at it and tell me if you see any glaring problem areas, or anything I should switch around. All suggestions are most welcome!! Thanks in advance!!
