Ok, so I have owned the Classics for some time, but never managed to do all of the workouts. (Does anyone else do this? I tend to find a few I really like and do them until I am sick of them, move on to others, then come back.) At the beginning of the workout, with all of the arm movements I thought it was going to be pretty lame, but holy cow! By the end of the third segment I thought I was going to die! I took a break and my 6-year-old said, "Wow, she just keeps going and going and going!" LOL

Anyway, a great oldie and I didn't even mind the butt-floss. :7

LOL!!! I love the title. I'm going to have to dig this one out as I also tend to cycle my favorites over and over.

Thanks Marie!

I like the last segment of Step Jam A LOT. I can't stand the first segment with all the arm movements. It drives me absolutely nuts. So what I do, is I make a mishmosh of Step Jam, Step Heat and Step Max. I take the segments from each that I like the best and mish mosh them together. This makes for an extremely fun workout.

I'm with y'all on the arm movements. I feel like it takes too long to get going. I gave this one away to another Texas Cathe girl.

I love the Cardio hits DVD though.

I really enjoy Step Jam for some reason. I do it on 8 in. and really like the clanky music used during the first section. During the arm movement section I focus on squeezing my butt when I step up to make sure I'm getting a good workout. By the end, it really picks up and turns into a nice cardio workout for me. I use this on days I need cardio, but I'm not really feeling like a workout. The music makes me smile and I just have a little bit of fun.

Whenever I do Step Jam I start at combo #1 finished product, I find the progression of the first combo kind of tedious but I absolutely love combos 2 & 3. Cathe kills me with her multiple use of the word 'groovy' in this video, never fails to make me smile.

SJ was my first Cathe workout, and has a special spot in my heart. I don't find it to be an overly intense workout (no blasts, how nice!), but I really, really enjoy the choreography. That third segment used to feel really challenging, back in the day. Now, I find I need to up the intensity, and usually do karate kicks on the step, instead of jump-kicks.

I really like the shuffle-hops in the second combo a lot, especially when they're all put together into the routine. Fun stuff!
