Hello all,

I just recieved Step Blast & Step, Jump &Pump in the mail. What do you all think of these workouts? Difficulty?Fun factor? How difficult is it to master? Suggestions to modify for knee issues? Any feedback would be great since I am just getting back into the "game!"

Step Blast is very well cued and I think easy to learn. It is also so much fun! One of my favorites! Step Jump & Pump is a great fun workout. The Step portion is short, easy to learn and not very high impact. The "jump" portion doesn't have a lot of high impact moves and she does offer modifications. It is easily adjusted to lower impact. I think you'll really enjoy these!! Susan

Step Blast is one of my favorites, but it's one of Cathe's longer workouts. Save it for the days when you are feeling particularly energetic and in the mood to do "pure" stepping.

I really like the step and weights portion of Step Jump & Pump, but I'm not a fan of floor aerobics so I skip past that on the DVD.

If you find you like Step Blast, you might want to get Rhythmic Step next. It's another of my favorites. The routines are a little hard to master, but you won't get bored!

Step Blast is my fave Cathe step workout and the premixes on this DVD are almost endless. If you have knee issues you might want to modify and not do the pivot moves, that is easily done in most instances. If you don't have the "energy" somedays the premixes have some shorter options rather than the entire workout.

Enjoy:)

I love them and they are not impossible to learn. Both of them are very intense because of the blasts, and because if that, I prefer them to Rythmic Step. I still like RS, though, and I keep it in my rotation. Step Blast is a bit complicated, but it is well worth learning.

I love these workouts and I love all the premixes! Besides the Imax's this is my most used cardio DVD. I think it is very fun! These were not hard for me to master at all but I am a long time Cathe exerciser and I don't have any trouble picking up the choreography. I really don't think you'd have problems mastering these at all. I don't modify as I don't have knee problems, but I don't think it's difficult to exchange a move if need be (hopefully someone else can answer that question).

Fun factor is extremely high for both. I use the SJ&P premixes all the time and, for me, Step Blast is THE go-to workout for days when I'm feeling lethargic and uninspired to workout. I have yet to not finish it once I start it. The choreography is awesome and it features TWO songs by PRINCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you all for your feedback! I LOVE Step Blast! I was clapping and "cheering" so much that my 5 year old daughter came into my workout room and joined me!!! She loves Cathe almost as much as I do! Thanks again!
