Step at Walmart

I bought a new step at Wal-Mart. I was the one with Cathe's picture and the Basic Step DVD.

It is alot shorter than the orignial one I purchased. (The rubber is bubbling on the top of it) It is shorter than the ones at the gym.

Why is this one not as wide? It seems it would provide a less intense workout. True?

Sharon... it sounds like you purchased the studio step which is shorter/smaller than the Original Club Step but is the same color.

I bought the same package at Target a few months ago... I am wondering where I can buy another set of risers for my step...

Yup - there is a difference between the studio step and the ORGINAL CLUB STEPPER, which is the one you want. I bought mine from walmart for about $100 and it was shipped to me. No Cathe dvd came with it. I would exchange it - you will run out of room on the Studio Stepper - its worth it to spend the extra $40 to get the right size and you can buy extra risers at Scheels or Dicks Sporting good store that fits it.

I love mine!!! I bought it at Walmart also and was very pleased to see that it came with Cathe's DVD on Basic Step. You can get a very intense workout with it as well. I have done all of Cathe's workouts such as Rythmic Step, IMAX2, etc. eventhough its not as high you can still get a lot out of it.

It is shorter than the others, but still works. You made a very good purchase!!!

It is also good if you don't have as much room in your house. I have both and only use the shorter one right now. If I used the other one I would be running into the furniture.
