STARTING x-mas shopping now - Bad me!

So all you ladies can feel really good about yourselves...

I'm JUST starting my x-mas shopping now. Fortunately I only have to buy for my brother, his daughter and my kids.

My daughter is travelling abroad next semester so just wants $ and clothes for France. With what my son has been through health wise he isn't as focused on presents.

I have a good friend - may get him something little. Yikes I better get going.

I overheard my kids are getting me 3 cathe dvds Awww...

I better get going!!

I'm with you Robyn! We went out last nite shopping and ended up only shopping for an auction my DH is having at work for his employees next week so nothing for family. YIKES! Headed back out tomorrow and probably Tuesday & Wednesday nite. Good Luck...somehow we all get it done. Also, your son's recovery is a great gift to you all!!! Give him a HUG! (what DVD's are they getting you...did you hear??? Yipeeeee!)

Kali, I went to toys r us the other day and it was like a WAR ZONE in there!! Toys all over the floor, screaming kids, enough people to be in violation of the fire code. People were wandering around, trying to find toys, trying to get assistance from employees, who were no where to be found. I think they were all cowering in the break room!! GOOD LUCK. Let us know if you make it out alive, LOL.

Ha - Kali and Sparrow - I remember those Toys R Us days and NOT FONDLY!

Mary - WOW all in one day. I did my brother, daughter, and her Mom. I got my son one present but it was expensive. I'm trying to get things I'd buy anyhow within the year. Thinking of a digital camera for my DD and laptop for my son.

Thanks for your kinds words Carole - I figured since you are such an early riser you'd be done months ago. How is that for sterotyping.

My daughter is almost home. Her Dad's house is a little over 1/2 way and they are both coming! Got a nice email from my friend - he will be with his kids today after 10 days will be great for them to spend the time together.

I finished my shopping about three weeks ago. However I haven't wrapped any! Yikes! I'm putting it off because I have a puppy. Yes, that is really why lol. I feel bad putting him in his kennel when I'm home, but I can't wrap with him around----he loves to bite and play with paper!

Stop that negative talk right now, young lady! This week you'll be able to take advantage of lots of sales, and may make out better in the long run. I'm not starting my shopping until Thursday, and I'm NOT bad! I'm LAZY because I buy gift certificates, but I also think it's SMART because everyone can buy their own gifts and take advantage of the after Xmas sales.
