Cheshire Cat
Cathlete
On Wednesday I was feeling great and looking forward to working out that evening but a couple of hours after posting of my intention to start working out again I started bleeding quite heavily while at work.
I was rushed off to hospital but I couldnt have a scan as the department was closed so a doctor performed an internal whereby he could only give me a 50/50 chance that the baby was still there. The fact that I had absolutely no pain or blood clots was positive. Anyway, 2 days later I had that much needed scan and the baby is OK. Huge sigh of relief! I burst into tears when they confirmed all was OK. What had happened was that the womb splits in two, the baby attaches to one half and the other half...mother nature just disposes of. It's quite common apparently - not that that's much comfort, I can tell you.
So, all's OK but I've been told to take it easy now for a month. Unfortunately tho the doctor didn't say I should stay off work. Drat :-(
Some things are sent to try us and I can only thank God for answering my desperate prayers.
