Standing vs floor leg work

I am not sure if it's true but based on my experience and results, I feel that standing leg work shape your leg and butt nicely while floor leg work decrease the size of butt and leg.

Does that make sens?

I havent noticed a difference. I dont tend to build noticeable muscle. For me, both work to create/maintain a tighter, better shaped lower body. Weighted standing work is more effective in terms of more bang for less reps on my body. I tack on floor work as an extra when I have time, or as a change, to mix things up.

oh really

I've been focusing on legs for a while and did not loose 1 inch

I lost on the upper body but NOTHING on the lower

This month, I am focusing on cardio and shorter sessions of legs 3 times a week + Full body workout 2 times a week that include legs.

I feel that the long leg workout twice a week is leading to no where.

So I am thinking of switching it and may be add floor work for variations and do more often but shorter. I can't do 3 times a week 1 hour leg, I will loose motivation. So I though short sessions and few floor workout many times a week (Will add up to 5 around 20 min each)

I need to see a change in bottom body

Darine,

I tend to the body type "apple".

When I gain fat it settles on my middle. Also on upper arms. I dont gain fat easily on the upper or lower body. I shape up relatively easily everywhere except in my miidle and upper arms. The only thing that helps my trouble spots is eating sensibly. I cannot see a difference in belly and upper arms no matter what exercise I try as long as my diet has too many indulgences. I think this tends to be true for a lot of people except the problem area where the body holds on stubbornly to fat is different.

Vee- I am also an apple. Diet -reduced carbs, increased protein is the key for me plus cardio. My Belly in the last to go and first to grow:(
