Stability Ball

I'm already thinking about my next purchases and am keen on getting some if not all of the new series. I don't have a stability ball (and am not going to get one as my equipment takes up enough space as it is!).

So my question is do you think that it is worth buying them without a stability ball? Will I still get enough out of it (skipping some exercises and subbing others)?

I know LIC doesn't use one (that's first on my list) and having had a look at the previews of the others it looks like I could get away without one. I'm interested to hear users' opinions.

Thanks!

You definitely don't need a stability ball for the four new workouts. It's used here and there in some of the workouts, but you can definitely get by without it. I just did Butts & Gutts this morning, skipping anything that involved a stability ball, and my legs were fried. B & G has a bonus section that does abs with a ball but it also has a non-ball ab section that is really good. In Body Max 2, I believe it's used as a bench for the weight lifting section (I may be wrong here) but you can use a normal weight bench or a step bench instead. I can't recall how much a ball is used in Drill Max, but I'm sure you could sub in non-ball exercises where needed. LIC doesn't use it all.

I wouldn't let the lack of a stability ball prevent you from getting the new workouts. The new workouts are so good and so fun, it would be a shame to miss out on them. You will want to get a resistance band, however, if you don't already have one.
