Stability Ball

Hi Paola~Check out this chart for the recommended size you should use. Keep in mind, if your legs are longer, the 65cm. MIGHT work. Your legs should form a 90* angle when you sit on the ball. (an upside down "L".) Hope this helps. Also, I am 5'4" and the 55cm is perfect for me. I have short stubs for legs! :7

Great, thanks for the chart. I didn't know either what size of stability ball to buy. Which website is that chart from? Is that there you got your ball?

Yes, I got my hubby & I both balls from this site. They are excellent quality. Here is the link to the site:

I believe that somewhere Cathe posted that she uses a 55cm ball and she is 5'3". I use the 55 cm but I'm shorter than you.

Thank you Debbie.

I appreciate it. I will measure it out. I have abnormally long legs for my body and height. So I will see

God bless

Paola

I am 5'5" and my legs are of a proportional length... I am also an instructor who uses the stability ball on a regular basis. When I have a choice I prefer the 65cm ball. The 55 just seems too small without enough support. As with everything in fitness, pay attention to your own body and do what works for you... within reason of course! :p
