Just wanted to tell everyone a quick hello before I start another crazy day! Yesterday was clean with the exception of 2 cookies - not bad at all. I'm shooting for 100% today and tomorrow.

I'm having a few laptop issues so I may be back in a bit and I may not. If not, have a wonderful day everyone!
 
Morning all,

Completed my last (for this round) day of max interval circuit and it was great! I rocked it - even the floor switch kicks and the plank punches. YAY me.

Had no electricity this AM so got a lot of cleaning done (darn stupid computer for sucking up all my time).

Gotta get my dinner in the crock pot though (Klaudia's lentil soup) since it couldn't go in earlier.

Katie, have a great day. Hope your computer probs are fixed and keep up the good, clean work!

I did not sleep well again last night. But I was able to go back to sleep around 5, just to get up at 6. Cold outside and I have the heat up.

good morning everyone. i stayed in bed till, gulp, 6:10am! no run this am:( hope to go later this am or at quiet time. i am checking in to set some goals, and i will bbiab to do personals.
1. have more patience (thanks for the reminder kate)
2. eat clean and tidy all day
3. smile as much as possible - helps everyone feel good.
4. say no to stress:)

Morning!

Getting ready to take Nevena on her class trip to the cider mill. It's gonna be cold-30s. After that it's the grocery store and then dance later this afternoon. Workout will be cardio-maybe some step or kickbox, not sure. Eats were great til the girls went to bed then I had some ice cream with Nutella:eek: Ah, well.

Kate, I'm trying to be more patient and kind too. Hope the weather is good for your pics! Where are you having them taken?

Here's the recipe:


Crock Pot Lentil Soup

1 pound dried lentils, sorted and rinsed
2 cans (14 1/2 oz each) vegetable broth
2 medium carrots, cut into 1/2" pieces
1 medium potato, peeled and cut into 1/2" pieces
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium stalk celery, cut into 1/2" pieces, optional
4 cups water
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper

Mix all ingredients together in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on low heat setting 8-9 hours or high heat for 3-5 hours or until lentils are tender. Stir well before serving. 8 servings

I added some garlic, bacon, an extra potato, and used chicken broth instead of vegetable:) Hope it tastes good!
 
Kl, the shoes I have are a 7 1/2 or 8, I can't remember which. I could run home at lunch and box 'em up for you, if you'd like. But, I would never deny a woman an opportunity to buy new shoes! The soups sounds delish, was it good?

Kate, I read your line about the weather cooperating and I thought, "I don't think so." I heard it will be in the 50s and 60s next week, tho. And definitely go out to dinner anyway. Where are you guys headed?

Robin, it's been very chilly here this week. Today it's supposed to be rainy and 45. Boo. I want nice fall weather.

Yesterday's wo of Pure Cardio was done, but not the abs. Pomai was crying for me so I stopped. Eats were clean except for two oreos. Yes, I caved. Anyway back on track for today. Today is Cardio Recovery. I think I'll do abs and ub also.

Nina - Good goals that I really need to do also.
Kate - I say go out and eat anyway. You deserve a little break from the kitchen!
Klaudia - Wow, 30's. It's 80's here and still muggy.
Anne - How's it going?
Robin - I hate when that happens. Get into a good sleep only to have to wake up.

hi yall... i havent left the house at all. those of you who've known me a while know this is rare!! i love to get out and walk! 2nd day i tried to put JJ down for AM nap and he just never fell asleep. got fussy around 12 and now hes been sleeping over 3 hours?!? maybe hes moving on to 1 nap a day? its chilly too but i would still go out, just bundle him up and keep my body moving fast! and speaking of... i hear him down the hall. bbiab!
 
hey everyone - rough day here. garbage food this am:eek:, and it wrecked havoc on my stomach and gi tract. all is well now, but it took a while before i could manage an interval run and max interval. i am glad to be done, and my tummy is t=still not right. i want just plain carbs, ya know?

wendy, i go stir crazy inside too!

lisa, great job with pure cardio. what do you think of the ab stuff?

ok, we finally got out and now glad to be inside, warm and toasty=)

nina, stir crazy is right... hate to stay in, even in the dead of winter. if we just walk to the library or post office at east we got out! sorry yr AM was rough, bummer.

klaudia, that soup looks great. i have a ton of lentils and was thinking of making a dal but maybe it'll be lentil soup ater all =) step or kb sounds fab... i miss those. my knees are not up to it right now and ive jut been doing intervals on the no impact machines at the gym. you should do step blast for me!

kate, yr gonna ROCK that fit test, watch! sorry about the weather screwing up pics. maybe yr out at a restaurant right now =)

Nina - I don't mind the Cardio Abs. It's an okay workout. Re: Pomai's party, it's pretty big. About a hundred people which 75% are DH's family. I was hoping for small and intimate, but oh well.

Wendy - Glad you got out for a bit!

Robin - Enjoy your down time.

What a crazy day and month for me! My boss decides out of nowhere to close down one store and now I have work about a mile high to do. Eugh, and it had to be the same month as P's party. BUT I will just be grateful for a job and hope for the best. Kashi for bfast. No lunch yet. Trying to work, pay bills, and figure out party stuff. Can't wait to wo.

no wo yet. JJ was up all morning and dh is home till 12 now. then i did chores thinking his nap was gonna be a quickie and it turned into 3 hours! SO should have worked out! still like to try for 30 mins of baptiste long and lean but im not so keen on working out in the evening as i used to be. someone asked about DOMS... i love them! i know, strange. not much from yesterdays class except a teeny bit in my shoulders. need to go heavier on that barbell.
