Springy 40's week of 4/15/12

I just finished a CCC premix. I figured I had to do something cardio to burn off at least one french fry. We went to Applebee's - the kids favorite. I had a nice greasy burger that I knew I should not have, but I love burgers and fries. Yummy. I have to share this, the last time we went to a fancy restaurant, one daughter climed over everything and the other threw up at the table and then fell asleep. It is funny now, but not so much at the time.

WHAT THE F'ing H E double hockey sticks happens to all the GD band -aids in this house? Where the hell do they go??? Argh
 
Hi girls! Today was MMA Boxing, something a bit different. Jody, I know at this house a bandaid is needed for just about every ailment, but they are not available when they are really needed! Tho, your shoes should make you happy! If my feet are unhappy, everything is unhappy/ Murphy, my kids love Applebee's too. The older ones love the 2 for $20, the only time they can get steak at a restaurant. Ronne, I find the rain makes me a bit lazy. I'm not as busy as I sound, I can slug with the best of them! Roxie, LOVE mexican. Sounds like the perfect dinner! Lisa, how is your day going? It has to have improved! How is your MAC? The work computer working? Yoshi? Well, yesterday ended up weeding, so today will be the desk! Have a good day! Mary

Boss lady and I went for a walk again this morning she is still having problems with her hip so not a fast walk and tonite will be SJP Step only.

Jody-such grown up language LOL! Never seems to be any when you need them.

Murhpy-sounds like a good supper.

Ronne-good job with MM I just didn't have time for it.
 
Hey everyone! A wonderful sleep, and now in at work, I will w/o tonight, either TBT LB or some total body weight work (not MM, too long! maybe JL R&C or STS TB...depends on my energy level). Feels so good for the computer to be basically all set up now and less stress. This week is the first week I'm doing only 3.5 days of work. I think I'll like it AND it may help improve my work mood.

Mary, the MAC seems ok, whew! don't know how it slid out of my hand! I'm trying to get my bff to go hiking next week, it's free week at the national park and be-auti-ful weather! I hope she can go (she is busy with taking care of aging parents). Anyone want to come hike?

Roxie, I bet that walk hardly feels like a w/o for the likes of us!

Jody, forgetting stuff sounds like I would do with a speech. And then you think back and think...and I forgot the GOOD stuff, how could I?

Ronne, we need rain, but I'm loving the sunshine (not too much though, don't want any more basal cell cancers!) Good for staying on top of work! Once I get onto something I have a hard time letting it go for the next day, so I guess I'm glad for non-stressful work.....been there, done that, too old for that anymore...lol

Murphy, maybe you managed to work off 2 fries? lol you were funny, I totally relate!
 
Good Afternoon

Time for me to rant and I know you have all heard this before but having a 25inch inseam really sucks even petite jeans are to long.
 
Roxie, I normally don't have a problem but these last pair of jeans I bought are too long for flats so I always have to wear some type of heel with them and I don't always like to wear heels, kind of a pain, so I can only imagine ALWAYS having a problem!

Tonite I did SJP Step only thinking about buying the downloads to SJP and SB just so I can add the two step workouts together is that stupid?

Roxie, do you have those in DVD? Couldn't you just pop in one dvd after the other? I do like the downloads BUT I never seem to create a unique workout from them and then I always forget what I have on the computer vs what dvds I see on the shelf
 
Shoes worked out fine yesterday.
Today's dilemma, wear something I can do a lap around the campus and run up and down stairs during 2 -20 min breaks (the place will be pretty deserted)
or nice jeans and collared shirt or something nicer in case I have a chance to talk to someone about job.
 
Today was an Intensity premix. I was supposed to do another dvd but I hit the snooze buttom and started some laundry and did some other stuff and it cut into my time.

Jody - can you bring two outfits? Wear the relaxing/exercise one and have the "in case I talk to someone" outfit on standby - or vice versa. ?? On another note, I loved what you said about the band-aids. I think I have cornered the market on bandaids. I must have 15-20 boxes of various sizes and whatnots. Most of them are on a low shelf the kids can get access to them. I put the $1 store ones on the bottom and the "good stuff" on top. :)

Murphy - love the restaurant story!! Which premix did you do? I find just the step on its own finishes me off!

Jody - hmm, dilemma - I think Murphy's got a good suggestion. Although, surely someone who wanted to employ you would be impressed with you working out!!

Lisa - yeah, I'll come hiking with you!!

Roxie - so you suffer from short leg syndrome as well?! :p I swear I have the shortest legs in the world - all trousers/jeans in my size are always too long for me! Do you not have the SJP/SB DVD with both on? If you do, there's a premix on there which combines the two.

Mary - so did you get your desk sorted out?

Did CSS premix today - express plus step, it's a goody. Did you all see that Cathe song from the Chicago road trip (I'm just catching up)? Brilliant. Going to take a day off tomorrow (work and exercise) then back to the grindstone on Sunday. Probably going in to town tomorrow - need a new eye cream and I've got a £15 voucher!

We didn't walk this morning boss lady sent me a text it was to cold windy and I guess there was lightening. Tonite is suppose to be High Step Training but I am going to do either Body Fusion or C&W help me decide please.

Ronne-I guess I never noticed there was a premix using both step routines they are the only thing I like about these workouts not a hi/lo fan.

Lisa-thanks for the advice I own the dvd just thought maybe it would be easier.

Jody-I like the idea of both outfits.
 
Hi everyone! Today did PS B&B, then the bonus step from LiCH. Roxie, I bought 2 downloads in the past, have never used them! I like to look at my dvd's and touch them! Lisa, she is crazy in R&C with those bicep curls! There has to be over 200! I get slightly bored during that section. Does DH come home today? Ronne, shopping? Can I come? Jody, when is your last day of school? DH teaches also, (his side job) he has 2 more weeks, then 3 off! Then summer school starts. Never ends, does it? Murphy, you must get up before the birds! Got the desk sorted, 4 hours! I felt like one of those hoarders you see on tv I had so much crammed in there! Today will be errands, dinner with friends tomorrow, mexican! Roxie inspired! Hi all, I got in LICh this morning. I think I'm finally figuring out my schedule. T,W,Th w/o at night since I'm pressed for time getting to work on those days (or maybe I should modify that to say that when I go into the office I will w/o at night), other days in the morning.

Ronne, I'll have to try that premix.

Roxie, I don't like hi/lo either

Jody, you can run and then be presentable afterwards? Heck I sweat just walking for 30 min in the air conditioning.

Mary, DH got home last night, he flies out again Sunday morning. So far the schedule is doable. If you saw my house you would think I'm a total hoarder....after 20 yrs in the same house you tend to accumulate a lot! I need to do another clean out soon! I gave up doing garage sales, I just give to charity.

Ronne - I did the last premix, 40 min-ish. It is the low impact one with the conditioning. I don't do step premixes, I just cannot get Cathe's steps down.

I too have short-leg syndrome. I am 5' 2.5" (don't forget my extra .5 inches!) Is it Jody or Mary or someone else who is the tall one in the group?
 
Will this day ever end? DH was suppose to put a bottle of wine in the fridge for me I cannot wait to get to it, and I would really love some chocolate too.

Roxie, I'm thinking of you with my Chardonnay and brownie. I had exact same thought earlier.


Busy week for sure- we go til the very end of April and summer starts a few days later but there is a two or three week break before fall.

Campus trot didn't work out for me, Tomorrow I will hit it hard. Lisa, I don't think sweat counts if you are wearing workout clothes, its just acceptable! Plus conference room was freezing, I had jacket on my lap all day to stay warm.

Sat morn-- What did you end up doing Roxie? Today I am trying to decide between Murphy inspired CCC and Ronne inspired CSS
